I come from Germany and visiting my relatives. I've been to Australia a few times and whenever I come here, a visit to the Jimboomba House Restaurant is always on my itinerary. A visit to the restaurant is always a pleasure. Cosy atmosphere, great food - very delicious. WOW - WOW - WOW
The service is top class, extremely friendly. Huge portions, excellent taste, very nicely presented. I look forward to coming here again every time.

What a lovely homestead Restaurant. Set in a country style backdrop.
The food was to die for and they gave such personal service. It was like you were the only customers there.
If you are looking for a romantic restaurant, this is it.

What a beautiful experience! Celebrating my 'other half's' birthday 17th Feb., we visited here for a lunch date. I can honestly say I was extremely impressed. From the warm inviting ambience as you enter the restaurant, the friendly staff show you to your table and produce chilled water and menus. The food was amazing, as was the service. I opted for a 'starter of 'prawn cocktail', (hadn't had one in years!) it was the biggest I've ever seen, it was so good. Hubby ordered the 'cobb loaf' as a starter and we couldn't believe how delicious it was, warm and crumbly and melted in the mouth splathered in churned butter. We both ordered the veal scallopini which was also delicious with the fine blend of wine and mushrooms. I indulged in a glass of cool Rose, while he who must be obeyed, settled for a scotch and dry. The staff were happy to furnish a container to bring the remains of mine home as I'm a small eater. However, I did leave room for the creme brulee, soooo nice, topped with sweet crunchy toffee shards. We both finished with tasty coffee. This place was as good as, or better than ANY restaurant we have been to. The not so far drive from home, will definitely see us going back again. We also appreciated there was no blaring music or loud conversations in the dining room and we could actually speak to each other like a 'real date'. Atmosphere, staff, food and prices, all worth the trip. Thank you to all that made it happen!

What a truly beautiful venue and gustatory experience, for our large family of 11 to enjoy together for my birthday. From making the booking, to the delightful staff, to the sumptuous feast, candle, and serenade, we couldn’t have imagined a better time. So grateful this gorgeous gem of a restaurant is close enough to visit often while we explore the menu more!

This place is definitely the most extraordinary place I’ve ever been to. The food goes above 5 star! The staff are all welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is beautiful with nice calming music. And the pasta!!!!! YUM!

Lovely food, pretty big portions, and wonderful staff 😊 as it's far from other buildings, you can see lots of stars at night after you've finished. It's pretty romantic (candles on table) ✨ and there are outdoor and indoor seating options. Very cosy and homey feeling decor (think Need Kelly armour in the corner and an old spinning wheel thing)

This place is divine! An absolute hidden gem in Jimboomba! We enjoy sharing the fresh, homemade cob loaf and garlic butter, the pork belly entree. Mains were the beef cheek (melt in your mouth) and the scotch fillet was cooked to perfection!! And our cheeky toddler had the chicken nuggets which were beautifully crumbed. Also ordered a sneaky caramilk cheesecake with coffee base to take home!! Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality and atmosphere tonight! We will be back again and next time we will bring some family or friends! Keep up the fantastic work! 👍🏼

This place was unreal. Loved every second of it. The food was to die for and the Staff were the friendliest we've ever had the experience of being served by. We love going to different restaurants around the city and the coast, far more expensive and "deluxe" than this, but this is by far without a doubt our favourite. Thank you guys.

Went for dinner on a busy Friday night, so book ahead to avoid disappointment. It's not a huge place but that makes the attention you get from staff pretty good. The food is very good. I had the entree size chowder that came with two generous pieces of toasted Turkish bread. The other meal was honey mustard chicken and the sauce was delicious and the chicken perfectly cooked. I also had creme brullee for dessert and is probably one of the best ones I have had in a very long time. Perfect consistency and the toffee crust was spot on.
My only gripe was some other restaurant diners. A family came in with 3 kids. Kids make noise, there's no doubt about that. The problem lies when the parents bury their noses in their phones and let their kids run around other people trying to eat their meal in peace and becoming a tripping hazard for staff trying to avoid them as they clear tables and deliver hot food.
The food at this place is outstanding and for that I'll be back!

Why have we not been here sooner? This place ranks in my top five eats in the greater Brisbane area. The food was delicious, fresh and arrived in good sized portions. Excellent value for money and the service was prompt and courteous. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended. 5 *****

We celebrated my birthday with friends. The food was very good, well presented and most of all delicious. The service was also very good, prompt we were informed about the specials and the girls were delightful.
I will definitely recommend Jimboomba House to anyone.

Very pleasant restaurant. We had a chicken schnitzel and a chorizo and smoked cheese gnocchi (a special). Both were excellent. There is lots of parking and indoor/outdoor seating. Highly recommended.

Visited Jimboomba House Restaurant for the first time tonight and I'll definitely be going back! Everything we ordered (mains and dessert) was 10/10, staff were lovely and attentive and the place had a beautiful atmosphere. We sat on the verandah, which was enclosed and protected from the wind, and got to relax as the sun set and we enjoyed our delicious meals.

How can you keep delivering this wonderful food.
Tastes better than it looks served with the best friendly service.
Drinks are good also served in an old historic homestead house.
Can’t beat these meals anywhere in Australia.
Go there most weeks even after 3 years of great food and service. This time I went to a wake buffet and the food was great and so the service. The old Jimboomba house atmosphere can’t be beaten. Suzanne and Tony are caring restaurateurs.

Perfect little date spot, the atmosphere is brilliant and the food and service is 5 star, great value for money.

Everything about this place was lovely! The staff helped to make our celebration a really delightful experience. They were friendly, super-helpful, and proactive in ensuring we had everything we needed. It started right from the booking stage and continued all throughout our lunch. The food was delicious and our position on the verandah superb! All 9 people in our group would recommend Jimboomba House unreservedly! Thanks for a lovely dining experience.

We had lunch at Jimboomba house today for Mum's 83rd birthday and it was delightful. The food was delicious and service excellent. Pricing was very fair.
