Tumut Star Hotel

Came here for dinner and was happily surprised. The menu is much as you would expect. Not quite as expensive as The Orient down the road but similar. The meals arrived promptly and were well cooked.

This was our first visit to the "Star" a great local pub I had the trout and wife had lasagne both were great meals and this pub features local wines a lot of our local eating places in Geelong maybe need to take notice 5 stars

Visiting Tumut for the first time in many years. Decided to have Sunday lunch at The Star , Service was great and 4 meals brought to the table promptly and with a smile ,

Had dinner with family and was lovely. The Thai Pumpkin Soup and Star Mess were delicious.

Meals were fantastic, exactly as described in the menu, perfect farm to plate.

The Ribs. Oh my God, the RIBS! Go there and eat them. You want the big serving!! Great customer service too :D

I walked in to my Room, Number 3, and I expected just a Basic Room with one Bed, and just a broken down TV, like most Hotels. No, No, No, not this one. I was greeted at the bar by a really nice girl, who gave me the low down of the Hotel. They don't do dinner, but they do Counter Lunches. I walked into my Room, and was greeted by a Brand New Flat Screen TV, a Huge Comfy Double bed, with heaps of Blankets, a Bar Fridge, and a French door that lead to the huge Balcony. The Bathrooms are modern, and have great hot showers, the whole Hotel and Bar area, is very clean. My room for a single person was worth $35.00 a night, and the best money I have ever spent on accommodation. I recommend this Hotel to the traveler, or someone wanting to explore the town for a few days. I will be back..

Friendly pub with an awesome bistro menu! Entertainment on most friday and saturday nights from 930 til late. Recently renovated dining room.

Comfortable beds excellent bar service friendly staff and owner of the pub Scott and Kerry are are amazing welcoming and friendly I recommend this pub to everyone best in town no doubt.

Has been revamped recently and looks slot more modern, the menu has been upgraded as well and the food was great
