Lovely historic country pub. Awesome pub food and large servings at very reasonable prices. Caters for coeliac gluten free dishes with large serves and almost everything on the menu being gluten-free. Awesome coeliac homemade pizzas made from scratch. No frozen pizza bases here. Friendly staff who are all trained in preparing and catering for people with allergens. Highly recommend a visit to experience this hidden gem .

I’ve visited a few times now for lunch and dinner, it doesn’t look like much from the outside and not much changes when you go inside and this is why I like it. It’s quaint however the service and food is where this little old building in the hills shines.
Every visit the staff have been amazing, super friendly and welcoming, each time the food has come out quick and the flavour has always been superb, the garlic sauce has so much flavour you want to shut your eyes and lean back as you enjoy anything covered in it, the steaks taste fresh and cooked to perfection while the chicken schnitzel tastes like it’s been freshly crumbed to order, it’s crunchy, tender and has amazing flavour.
Writing this review my mouth is salivating thinking about coming up for another meal.

Had a delightfully delicious schnitty burger here. A beautiful Sunday arvo with my partner. The publican was fantastic, and learned a little about the history of the place. Nice country pub with Fruit Tingle on tap! $9 pints. Yum 😋

An old fashioned pub, with good service. Plus the bonus of accommodation in the pub, and a caravan park out the back. As well above the bar, it had all manner of nik nakes which adds to the charm of the hotel

Been meaning to stop for years, we finally did. Lovely friendly pub. Done up to be warm and inviting. Great beer and shared the best steak sanga, something we have been hankering for. Definately worth the stop. Will be back for a loooonger session sometime soon!

Wow what can I say. Mount Torrent Hotel is truly something. The food for one is the greatest thing I have ever experienced. My favourite dish is their Torrens-caught mighty lobster meal. It’s truly great that Mount Torrens Hotel supports other local businesses. The people at Mount Torrens are better than the food! There is a certain bar-maid, Tillie Kowald. Although she may have funny-looking hair and peculiar personality, Tillie is always welcoming guests into the bar and making everyone happy with her bubbly smile. From my personal experiences as a food critic. Tillie has done an exceptional job with supplying laughs, smiles and a lovely cold West End. Mount Torrens Hotel is TRULY the place to be and if you pass up on their lovely food and hospitality you are as silly as a right-winged golliwogg. Lots of love -BigTrev

My family friends and I stayed overnight at the Mt Torrens Hotel on a very last minute book in. The owners kindly accommodated all 6 of us and were friendly, hospitable and helpful. We loved our clean, quaint and cosy rooms and really appreciated the fascinating history of the Hotel. 4 out of the 6 of us felt the presence of the resident ghosts and it was not in the least bit frightening or unsettling more a feeling of calm and as if we were well looked after, we agreed we felt “no bad vibes” only “friendly” vibes from the ghosts!
In the morning we dined in the breakfast room and had delicious fresh food and coffee! Was a real pleasure staying here and we all appreciated how hospitable the owners were considering our last minute booking! We highly recommend you stay at this historic hotel for you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic country pub. We are very limited here for take away or evening meals in general. Mt torrens hotel is almost always open. Their take away pizza can save the day!!!! For take away for a family it's a great price. It's absolutely delicious pizza!!! & sometimes you get an AWESOME note on the box which adds to the treat!!! It's fantastic getting some drinks in while waiting for the pizza to take home!!!

Great Caravan Park, we've stayed here a few times and it's really well priced. Great food too and it's really not noisy at all in the evening, we highly recommend mount Torrens hotel.

Wow! What a find 6 minutes from home. Great pub food. Good coeliac choices of food on the menu. I had chicken snitzel, salad and chips with mushroom gravy and would definitely have it again. They even have gf toast and fruit toast for breakfast! Thanks heaps :)

Really enjoyed our meal at this quaint country pub. We had 3 of the pizzas and all of them were delicious, tasy and hot and fresh! Would like to commend Alex on his wonderful friendly service and recommendation of his favourite pizza the Mighty Lion! We will definitely stop by here again.

Family owned pub catering for dietary requirements in a small quiet town, what's there not to like? The service was amazing, had some great chats and the food was delicious. My family and I went for dinner last night after a long day. Angie was great, so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, great serving size and a great price. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
