A surprise as not planning to visit, but Visitors Centre recommended.

Short drive from city centre, on bitumen road up hill, presented a great view of city & surrounds including various mines.

There are a number of story boards up there that explain the history of the fresh water pipeline & pump houses. Was really informative although some of the story boards are hard to read.

Free, plenty of parking, easy stroll. If you can visit.

This gives you a good photo opportunity of Kalgoorlie and the northern mine sites. Nothing much else here, but a good stop on a tour of the town.

a nice pitstop after visiting the SuperPit, to see the end of the Golden Pipeline. This place could do with a public toilets.
