They have quite soundproof rooms with great air-conditioning. They got robbed the night I stayed there and I didn't hear anything.

Highlight of our stay in Kal, food was great. Sitting outside on the balcony was a great experie6watching the world go by.

Was straight away greeted by Quinn, she looked after my sister and I and suggested great cocktails. The cocktails were put together in an eye pleasing way and tasted even better! Our server Quinn was training a young French woman (first day) but still had great customer service and made us feel like we weren’t rushed even though she was clearly busy ensuring all her customers were happy
Food was great! The chicken supreme is definitely a favourite, chicken was cooked to perfection

When you walk through to the rooms you will look at the hallways and think "hmmmmm its taken a bit of a battering - was this a smart idea" but the room we were put in was fresh, clean, comfortable and nice enough. It's actually a really cool old historical site and it was a nice stay actually. When ypu put it in that context of course it's taken a bit of a battering - she's an old lady now!
We arrived after travelling into town for offswing and it was the ideal spot to overnight to break up the journey. Considering its right on one of the main streets it was peaceful overnight. Would we stay there again? Absolutely. It's not a Hyatt or a Crowne Plaza but it's a great site and has a freaking amazing restaurant (the Balcony). It's a 20 dollar ride to Kal Airport. Everything you want or need is there round you. We will break our journey there again.

Had the 5 bedroom apartment came with a bar and large lounge & separate kitchen. Spacious but aged with character - very clean and tidy

I’ve travelled roughly 1,000km every day for 10 days across 4 states, I can’t remember the last time I had a chicken parmi as good as that, food is spectacular. Rooms are vintage hotel with modern touches, can’t go wrong. Had my own balcony. Stop in the old Irish hotel, you won’t regret it.

Amazing food!!! The Balcony Bar you guys were the best! I cannot remember actually wanting to give a review on meals but hats off best steak and lamb we have had in a very long time! We arrived late that night from a long day on the road and staff could not be more helpful with our accomodation and setting a table for us!

By far the best family friendly pub in the town, the staff are truely amazing, the food is amazing the Guinness is delicious of the tap accommodation is superb, you truely get the Kalgoorlie experience here, can't find words to express how friendly & kind the staff are I highly recommend this place if your passing through and looking to experience the town and all it has to offer this is the place! A true Irish experience!

What a pleasurable experience dining on an enclosed verandah as the Sun went down...My friend and I ordered the shared platter for entree.. what a wonderful summary of dishes from the menu. The food was not only delicious, everything tasted so fresh! Portions and size of the platter was so much more than we expected, we had to cancel our mains! Can not rate this selection high enough!

What and absolutely amazing place to stay, only let down was we couldn't stay an extra night!
From the get go the staff where wonderful!
The room: absolutely stunning, with just enough modern not to ruin the history, a great view of town from the balcony!
Bed was comfortable and a lovely well pressured hot shower and heating and cooling!

A lovely old hotel with big clean rooms. Our mouths were watering when reading the large variety of food on both menus to choose from and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Brilliant location. Will always stay there. Transperth bus terminus right outside our door for an easy ride around town and Boulder.

I loved the character of this place a step back in time. Beautiful in charm. Clean crisp bedding and comfy beds. Meals were huge and the staff happy to cater for our needs.

3 meals. Nicely presented and tasty. Price good, quantity good. Irish salad was a change from normal garden salad.

Booked into the rooms here while we needed to stay in Kalgoorlie whilst giving birth to our son. Partner stayed for a few nights by himself while bub and I were in hospital.
Coming out of hospital, we came to stay as well, it's beautiful in the rooms. The beds are comfortable and the shower has really good pressure.

The best thing though? The compassion of the reception staff. We are having a little bit of an issue with not being able to predict whether we need another night at the end of our booked stay, due to bub needing to be tested at the hospital so we need to take it day by day.

Staff have told us to do what we need to do and if we need the room, it's there and if we need a later checkout, they're not going to make us pay for another night even though they are fully booked when we leave.

I'm loving the empathy being displayed that were in an unpredictable situation and I can not recommend this hotel enough.

Thanks to the staff, you guys have made a stressed out mum be able to stress about one less thing for our stay ❤❤❤

The Palace thankfully has been revamped retaining its old world charm. The Irish Bar is great for meals and restaurant upstairs serves delicious meals, I can highly recommend the Duck, Bestest ever.

Great service, friendly staff, vegan options available if you ask the waiters to ask the kitchen staff.
Huge range of drinks available: cocktails, big wine list and lots of beer on tap.
Great place to watch the world go by from upstairs, plenty of outdoor seating.

Can't complain for the price of accommodation. I stayed in a refurbished twin. It was warm and comfortable. Tea and coffee in rooms. Friendly staff. I ate dinner at the restaurant which albiet expensive pretty typical pricing for Kalgoorlie.
Breakfast at the cafe was great.

We dined on the balcony as the sun was setting and imagined what life could be like when this town was first set up. The food was fantastic! We had the vegetarian pasta, side salad and spiced-baked camembert. Generous portions, great presentation and delicious food. Loved the experience. If you don’t think this is the best, then you know nothing Jon Snow!
