Beautiful beaches with interesting cliff formations. Rocky areas are strewn along the beach offering great places to explore and try out your landscape photography.
The beaches have fine golden sand, often with an orange tinge and in some areas the sand is earthy grey.
Hang gliders launch from a dedicated strip[ atop one of the cliffs.
One of the best things about the beaches in this area (close to Bells) is that they almost never get crowded. In fact you often get the beach to yourself - probably because it involves a decent walk down.
Great spot!

Great beach with beautiful clean sand and steep red cliffs that run parallel with the water's edge, which provides some amazingly contrasting colours on those long hot summer days👌

The waves at Point Addis can provide some decent surf off the point for ameture surfers like myself.

Parking can be a little tricky on those hot summer weekends, so be prepared. Always take food and drink with you becuase there are no shops or water fountains nearby... but just remember to take your rubbish home at the end of the day and do your bit to keep this gem of a beach shining bright ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love this quiet beach. The views are great, the water is clean and minimal crowds. Interesting water pools and nearby cliffs to explore, but obey the safety warnings. The beach is not patrolled. Good car parking at top.

Fantastic coastal reserve. Full of small birds and reptiles. We walk town to the beach in time to see a pair of peregrine falcons hunting seagulls. They caught one.

One of the best places to visit near Geelong. With the benefit of low light pollution, this is good spot for star gazing at night.

Beautiful coastline walks on the beach when tide is out. Rock pools and rocky reefs at each of the points possible to climb over and explore when tide is low only. Well formed stairs for access to Addiscot beach...but no disabled access possible. No toilets. Nude beach is also 100m further up the sand on the Addiscot beach.

Best time to visit is on the low tide. You can walk to the point and access a beautiful small beach via 2 caves. On this beach if you look hard enough is a rock pool you can swim in which will usually have fish in it.

it's a beautiful place. my favorite beach in the entire country. from the look out some times you can spot whales, australian fur sea lion, fairy penguin and a variety of sea birds. you just need to be patient enough. the further beach on you left if facing the ocean is a nudist beach, so families should avoid that side. there strong currents so swimm with care.

New favourite spot on the great ocean road! Good surf spot with multiple breaks. Crab Potts is awesome, just don't surf there alone. Bit of a mission to get to it.

Peaceful and beautiful, popular with Surfers. Unpatrolled beaches so swim at own risk, Beach and clifftop walks, Aboriginal history.
For a longer walk (10kms) park around around Janjuc beach, walk along the cliff tops to Point Addis and return along the beach and rock walls but Only Accessible at low tide.

Point Addis
Just around from Bells Beach’s famous point breaks is Point Addis, a sandy crescent rimmed by a dramatic sweep of ochre sandstone and limestone cliffs. The lookout next to the road offers panoramic views, before you walk through a section of national park down to the beach. If it’s low tide, walk along the rockpool ledges to Southside and Bells Beach, or just stroll up the northern end to the stretch of ‘clothing optional’ sand, if that’s your thing. There’s also an Aboriginal interpretive trail, the Koori Cultural Walk, with incredible views from the cliffs.

One of the most spectacular spots on the Great Ocean Road. Incredible beach, and one that (other than on warm summer days) is generally pretty quiet.
