Redgate Forest Retreat

I recently stayed at Redgate Forrest Retreat with my two adult children. Everything about it was amazing. We stayed in Kanana house which is the most private and I think has the best view. Sheila was wonderful and gave us the rundown on everything. Every little detail has been carefully thought of. My 19 year old daughter absolutely loved it. Would happily stay here again.

It’s particularly amazing for groups - we had the Maya Homestead and Kanana Chalet and both were incredible with great views and fantastic facilities.

Our Christmas was magical at Maya. We stayed 4 nights, family of eight 8 and 2 dogs. Sheila is wonderful.We didn't want for anything. Will absolutely stay again and highly recommend this beautiful place. Than you Sheila for allowing us to stay at your gorgeous property.Regards Robyn and Family

We had four nights here staying in the Maya house. This was a family get together after a wedding in the Swan Valley.
Thoroughly recommended. Everything was perfect and a lot of thought had gone into providing all the things you need.
As a bonus, there is some cows and sheep which is fun for any children.

Absolutely wonderful stay here. It's dog friendly and Sheila is so lovely. It was so peaceful and a perfect place to de-plug for a while. I had a castle moment when I arrived and literally said "how's the serenity" Hahah. Nothing but birds singing and leaves rustling. Magic!

Beautiful location with fabulous dog friendly accomodation. There was a large contained area for our dogs to explore as well as beautiful walks through the forest. Sheila was just lovely, accommodating late booking changes and ensuring we had a memorable stay. Looking forward to returning soon!

An absolutely wonderful stay. So clean , tranquil, relaxing ,spacious and very handy to all beaches, Wineries & MR. We loved the fact you can bring your pet, (rules apply) - its all gated for their safety. I'd take my 2 dogs for early morn walks around this gorgeous property. The host was fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend it and we will be back!!

The property itself is unbelievable; the accommodation just as good.

We've already penciled in another stay in a few months. Nothing locked in yet however that's based on our ability to take the time off; not the property or experience.

We just had our second stay in the Wongin Chalet and I'm sure we will be back.
We booked all 4 houses out for the weekend for my wedding.
It was perfect having our family with us but no one was living in each others pockets.
All the family were so happy with their houses and all plan on returning.
So modern, clean and the rural outlook tops it off. So unbelievably comfortable, I could sleep forever in that bed, the couch is perfect chill zone and the dogs are safely secure in the yards.

You would never know you had neighbours.

We have just spent another fabulous weekend, this time staying in the lovely Djarlma Chalet which is a very comfortable, clean, private & peaceful home away from home. Djarlma, as with all three chalet options and the fabulous Maya Homestead, are beautifully furnished and very well equipped homes in an idyllic setting that are a perfect base for your trip to the Margaret River region. Easy access to wineries, beautiful beaches and everything else that the region has to offer. A 10 minute drive to the town of Margaret River and 30 minutes from Augusta. Sheila and her manager are great, they can be contacted easily and are very quick to respond should you need any information. And the best thing is that you can take your dogs with you, for no extra charge. Redgate Forest Retreat properties are all dog friendly, so you can relax completely and just enjoy your stay at any of these perfect places on this wonderful site. We will return again & again.

We stayed last weekend in the Maya Homestead as a group of 5 adults and 4 kids. We had a wonderful experience and the kids loved seeing the animals. The houses were spotless and well equipt. Shelia checked in on us and explained to the kids about farming when she saw they were curious.
Will definitely return here. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend a stay at this fabulous location. Our recent visit here was amazing. The accommodations are impeccably clean, the rooms are spacious with thoughtful easy to use appliances throughout. The grounds have beautiful gardens and trails through the trees for exploring or you can sit and relax in the shade of the gazebo or in the patio area. Something for everyone here. The sunsets are spectacular.

Great facilities in a nice location. Dog friendly, child friendly. Well set up with excellent appliances, good sharp knives and we'll kitted out. No struggling to prepare dinner with one pan and dinner knife like other places. Very peaceful.

Family of 3 plus a lab stayed in Dharljama. Great house clean and tidy. Owners were great and called in our first night to ensure we were comfortable. Great size rooms plus an ensuite each. Stocked with the basics. Highly recommend.

Amazing place to stay with your furbabies! I have stayed here 3 times now. Family friendly with all the amenities you would need for a short or long stay. Sheila is professional and friendly in all her communication. Would happily stay again and again....

What an amazing weekend we had in our Wongin cabin. It was so spacious, clean and just felt so homely. We really didn’t want to leave. The views were so beautiful and relaxing, we loved our bbq dinners & breakfasts with many family games out there. Really looking forward to going back

Redgate Forrest retreat is heaven on earth! Day 2 into 5 days and I just know we won’t want to leave already. Wongin cabin is divine, beautifully fit out with every luxury. I’m in a wheelchair and the accessibility is perfect. The kids are having a ball exploring and the dog is in heaven. With a wonderful host who greeted us on arrival, what more could we ask for! 😍
