Gav and Sophia were an absolute delight to work with! They designed the most beautiful wedding cake for us. They were so helpful workshopping our ideas and creating an amazing design - professional, responsive, flexible and fun! Highly recommend!

I’ve have ordered two cakes for my son’s birthday. From the start, it was very smooth communicating with Sophia and she understands the concept really well and outcome was exactly what she promised. Both the cake were delicious and super tasty.

Amazing cakes and incredible service!

Over the last several years, Gavin and Sophia at Atomic Cakes have made several birthday cakes (including novelty cakes), one engagement cake, and one wedding cake for our family. As the pictures show, their cakes can be kitsch and novel or more traditional and elegant. All their cakes taste wonderful and are simply gorgeous!

They work with you to understand you, your event and what would work best in the context. Our family would not recommend or use anyone else!

A belated review of my Birthday cake that was created for me at the end of September 2023.
Gavin and Sophia really listened to everything I wanted and they really did deliver.
I had the most luscious lips for my Rocky horror themed party, I chose chocolate all the way which tasted amazing. The cake with the icing was not too sweet and was full of delicious chocolate flavour.
I will never forget this cake, it was so worth it and I'll be back for another when I can think of any excuse for mor cake.

Contacted Atomic Cakes pretty much last minute to arrange birthday cake for hubby's 40th. Gavin and Sophia, Legend!! They were very helpful and supportive with our ideas and budgeting. The cake was a hit and it was so delicious I had to hide a huge cut to take home. 100% would go to them again!!

Gavin was incredibly accommodating, with my request and short notice to organise a cake for a friend's 30th the same weekend, truly saved the day

He helped me paint a creative idea whilst over the phone and the final result brought those ideas to life!

The cake was demolished on the night but not without first being appreciated by the crowd which made it even sweeter.

Gavin & Sophia created the ultimate, most magical cake for my dad's 80th birthday party!! We could not have been happier with their service and the cake : ) My dad LOVES trains and his beloved Jack Russell dog. Gavin & Sophia created a beautiful orange/citrus poppyseed cake (dad's favourite) with a train and Jack Russell on top surrounded by a little fence and trees. You should have seen the sheer delight on my dad's face when the cake was brought out at the party! Dad was literally lost for words!! The cake tasted absolutely delicious and was one of the highlights of the party :) Thank you Gavin and Sophia for your incredible work and adding an extra layer of happiness to the milestone 80th party :)

Highly recommend using Sophia and Gavin and Atomic cakes in Caulfield. They are easy to work with in regards to being timely and doing what they can to accommodate even in this instance on my short notice . Atomic are up for just about any challenge and certainly deliver the goods putting a smile on all who witness their marvellous creations. The cake itself is moist and decadent and even if you are watching your sweets intake this one is irresistible. Gavin and Sophia, I mean honestly- you guys are absolute MAGIC. First of all, the cake tasted glorious. Not too sweet, so moist and perfect ratio between cake and fondant. THEN you see all the little detail on the cake and it’s gobsmacking. You guys literally took a concept in my head that I couldn’t really put into words and turned it into CAKE!!! Forever grateful. First of many many cakes from you guys!!

WOW! The cake we ordered was amazing! It was beautifully designed and put together and it tasted simply wonderful! It was moist and flavoursome without being too sweet.

It was simply delicious! Gavin and Sophia were helpful, accommodating and understanding throughout the process. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Ordered a 3 tier white chocolate and raspberry cake for an 80th. The cake looked fabulous and tasted amazing. (The white chocolate and raspberry cake was so delicious and surprisingly not overly sweet). Many of the guests wanted to know who made the cake. Gavin and Sophia are very accommodating and absolutely nailed it with the design and colour. Would definitely order from them again without any hesitation and highly recommend them to anyone considering a celebration cake.

Gavin and Sophia created the perfect wedding cake for us, it was exactly what we wanted. It looked beautiful and tasted fantastic. I couldn't be happier with it. They also created a cake recently for my grandmothers 90th which was a huge hit. I highly recommend them! They are friendly, genuine and talented.

Gavin and Sophia created the most incredible cake for my "Book Week" themed 40th birthday party.

I had a chat with Gavin a few months prior and he came up with a fun and creative concept, incorporating two of my favourite books, my two cats and even a little decorative version of me!

It was everything I could have asked for and more - a genuine work of art that perfectly captured my love of literature, tea and cats! It was almost a shame to cut into it, but I'm glad we did because it was absolutely delicious. The detail on the cake was also incredible and it was a talking point of the party throughout the night.

Gavin at Atomic cakes made a replica of my sons Ford Raptor for his 30th birthday party The cake was outstanding and the talk of the party. When we cut it and ate the Marble cake, it was delicious. Thank you so much Atomic Cakes. Would highly recommend.
