We stayed one night and wish we stayed more. Absolutely stunning. Camp grounds were quiet, out of the wind and surrounded by shrubs, birds. The toilet was really clean and tidy, no cobwebs/bugs. The paths are kept tidy and not overgrown by plants. The lighthouse area and lookouts are easy to walk up to. The beach is glorious, great exploring in the rock pools. Other ppl visiting and staying were all very friendly, driving slowly and respectful on the beach. We did see two brown snakes basking in the sunshine, so just be aware of that. We can’t wait to visit cape banks again. 10/10

Hidden gem! Cute little campsite by the beach with incredible views from the lighthouse a few meters away. Toilet is one, hole in the ground, but clean with toilet paper.
The camping areas have really good shelter with small bushes, so good if it’s windy. We stayed last night, we were the only campers there! Pre booked $16 on national park website. Would recommend for beach and views.

Spectacular, peaceful, clean.

Great place to stay for a couple of nights. We stayed in camp 4 of 6. Decent size and a little removed from the other camps. No shade at all on any but it's still a great option. Has a viewing platform next to the light house as well as the usual info plaques. Access to the beach is easy for those who want to try their hand at catching a big one or just walk the vast stretches or sand.
Can get quite windy but the dunes offer some shelter..

A beautiful part of the world. The camp ground has 6 very separate sites that allow for privacy. Great beaches and plenty of sealife including seals and dolphins. We stayed two nights, had we time could have stayed longer. Glorious

Great spot Next to a working lighthouse! Toilets and rain water tank. The best spots are the 1, 2, 3 and 5 ;). The beach is beautiful but difficult to access to with cars.

It has wide open beach. Seals playing around shore. Lighthouse in close view of camp ground.

Windy, wet and wild....we dropped in for a night with the crazy weather but will be back to enjoy the solitude, beach and nature.

We really enjoyed our night here. Was a very quiet evening, with other campers being considerate with noise and respecting others spaces. Wonderful views from the lighthouse lookout. And enjoyed a nice sunset on the beach. This campground had a long drop toilet, which I usually detest but to my surprise was one of the best experiences I’ve had.

Two down sides. Lots of seaweed and the stench coming off it was gross. In the morning we got attacked and almost “bitten” by the massive flies which neither of enjoyed.

Basic amenities drop dunny & empty rainwater tank. Stunning seascape. As long as you're happy to share with 1ml March flies you'll love it. Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed it but there are many other better campgrounds in SA.

Small, tidy Campground near nice beach, some but limited shelter from wind. No shade.

Long drop toilet on site. Sun sets a little early here due to position.

Nice free camp, you have to still book via website, nice and close to coast line can be very windy.

Nice peaceful place, worth the walk to the cliff edge, follow the track about 15-20mins one way
