Free campground adjacent to the Yandanooka Town Hall with some facilities. Must be self-contained.

Time and Cost: 72 hours, Free.

Access: Sealed road to camping area.

Facilities: Large camping area with dirt/gravel base. Some shade from large gum trees on periphery. Flushing toilets and bins. No Optus but good Telstra reception and no TV.

Ambiance: Very peaceful and quiet location. Lots of birds. Recently constructed star gazing area with planisphere adjacent to camping area.

Good multi-night camping location in Yandanook for self-contained vehicles. No dump point, shopping or fuel available in Yandanooka.

Great RV stop for self-contained vehicles alongside a very quiet railway line. Bins are provided, very clean spot. Was originally a village in the 1800's now only the hall and a private dwelling, which was originally a shop exists
