Tasty food - very tasty!

We popped in for lunch at a whim and it happened to be Mother’s Day. Luckily enough, there was a table for two in the corner that we could grab, but it was pretty busy.

We had three dishes which was way too much for two people, but we’re greedy so adjust your order accordingly. The menu here is pretty big, but we chose some Chef recommended dishes that we are right about and certainly weren’t disappointed.

1. Banh Xeo - Vietnamese Pancake with Prawn
2. Banh Cuon - Steamed Rice Paper Roll with pork
3. Banh Khot Rau - Mini Pancake with Prawn and Vegi

Everything we had was great, but if I had to pick a star, I would probably throw the mini pancakes were my favorite . The combination of the lettuce and mint with the crunchy pancake base and tasty filling. I’ll definitely be ordering this again.

Although the place was busy, the service was friendly and dishes came out quickly. To some tasty food good service cold beer I’ll be back.

Thanh Ha is a hidden gem that has been serving up delicious Vietnamese cuisine for the past 10 years, and it's no wonder they are still going strong. My meal was very good, from the savory flavors of the food to the refreshing quality of the drinks. The atmosphere was pretty standard, but the longevity and consistent quality of the food definitely stood out. If you're craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine, Thanh Ha is a reliable choice for a satisfying meal.

If you are looking for Viet Resto with food that's great for shared plates. Def hit up Thanh ha 2. I discovered them first online but unsure if it was legit until my Vietnamese friend confirmed it.

I sent today to have the satay chicken skewers, betel leaf beef rolls and pork/prawn banh xeo with 2 coconut drinks.

Damnnnnnn this was so good!! All the flavours were on point and it really reminds me of Cabramatta/Canley vale (Sydney) Vietnamese family style restaurant. Most importantly we were super full and it came down to only $60 between the two of us.

Our favourite Vietnamese restaurant and also our go to restaurant when we are in Melbourne Always busy but service is good. It’s a place where you go for food but you don’t linger.

One of the best vietnamese pancake / banh xeo in Melbourne! Large and generous portions at affordable priced. Very authentic Vietnamese food with many choices of noodles, pho and rice. Just quite small and cramped with tables being super close to each other.

I had the best banana fritter of my life here. It came out piping hot from the fryer. Perfectly toasty, soft, refreshing banana with a crispy batter paired with the decadent cold and creamy vanilla ice cream will never leave my memory. In addition, there was honey drizzled on top and peanuts to add a crunch and nutty depth to the taste. We also got the chicken and mushroom clay pot and it was very good. Hot, saucy rice with super tender chicken and packed with juicy vegetables. The other interesting addition to the night was the Banh Xeo, which is a massive egg pancake filled with pork, bean sprouts and shrimp. It was eaten with lettuce wrap and honestly was a bit too messy for my liking but not bad.

Great selection of dishes . Place was packed when we visited and I can understand why. Good food and reasonable prices.

Only down side is all the drug addicts and dealers walking up and down the street. Just be careful and you'll be right.

Generous serving of bun thit nurong. A lot for one person but I still ate it all up because it was delicious. I also ordered prawn and pork rice paper rolls (4 in one service). Forced myself to eat 2 and took the rest home. Very happy tummy :) Fast and friendly service. Will definitely be back again for other dishes. Thank you

Best Vietnamese restaurant ever
Wish make some waiting seat or space when rush time .

I’m a novice about Vietnamese cuisine, but you don’t need to be an expert to love a place that serves great food.
We were accompanied by our friends who understood the cuisine better, and boy, was it a dinner worth memories.
The dishes were fresh and flavourful and the sides made the entire experience elevated!
We went ahead and ordered a Vietnamese Beer, and that was another gem in an already impressive dinner!

Thanh Ha 2 does one of the best Vietnamese pancakes (Bánh xèo) in Melbourne. It’s served with a mix of leafs to wrap the pancakes with. One of the last few long standing restaurants on Victoria St. I’ve been coming here for over 5 years now. We arrived here just before the footy match ended and the food didn’t take too long to come out. They offer BYO too. Service is standard but it’s what you expect for cheap meals. I always leave here full and satisfied.

Their menu has over 200 items so there’s something for everyone.

I recommend these if it’s your first time.

Recently dropped by here for a lunch. An amazing place with huge variety and selections. Never seen a Vietnamese place with so much dish selections. Quite rusty place, but service was quick and efficient. Very budgetly priced too. Will plan to go again sometime to try rest of the mouth-watering menu.

A friend’s favourite place and I can understand why- the pancake looks huge but is crispy and light with the chosen filling - eaten in a variety of fresh leafy greens. I did eat every bit 😋

The sugar cane prawn rice vermicelli was extremely tasty and the accompanied fish sauce was pack with flavours! The rice cake was also not bad. Massive menus to choose from and great value as well. Definitely coming back again

Thanh Ha 2 is definitely deserving of the title of best bánh xèo in Melbourne.

As it came out, I was immediately impressed by how large the portion was. The pancake itself was over 30cm in length, loaded generously with fillings, and looked glistening and fresh. It was a perfect balance of textures and flavours. Each mouthful was an exciting explosion of sweet and salty, crispy and crunchy.. an absolute delight!

The sugar cane prawn and betel leaf beef were also very tasty. Look forward to returning to try their bánh khọt and bánh cuốn.

Lovee the food here. We ordered Bo La Lot, the beef is render and the lead wrapping the beef was very crunchy. Their Com Tam taste amazing. Also the Banh Khot is good. The Banh Xeo was a bit less crunchy than we expected but it was good overall.

I’m amazed by the vegetarian menu they have here! First time seeing a vegetarian broken rice served in a Vietnamese restaurant. Usually they only have the pork version.

Also recommend that you try their pancake!! It’s huge and delicious!!! Usually their plate of lettuce comes first, and the pancake takes a while before it arrives.

Always a good crowd here at this nice ambiance restaurant, and recommend you give this place a try!

Massive menu serving mainly Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. The pho are great and their egg noodles or rice noodles dishes can come as a dry (although they don't write it on the menu), just ask the waiter. The dipping sauce for the spring rolls is also great!

My experience with the restaurant was very good, I got rice broken, and the flavour was amazing but, it was just a little issue (the fried egg was cold). In general, was good

restaurant that's often busy. The food is delicious, and the staff are friendly. The food came out quickly and was delicious.
