Platypus Shoes

I just went to this particular Platypus store and I was served by a fab young man called Will. He recommended to me an alternate shoe size (which turned out to be the perfect fit), he was super helpful, knowledgeable and just lovely. I cannot recommend this store highly enough after my great experience (and I am one fussy, and experienced, shopper). Thank you, Will! Thank you, Platypus!

This outlet is in a great city location and usually when I walk past it's just to busy a store for me to visit however on this occasion, just before the store closed, I was lucky. It wasn't at all busy and even though I was just browsing, the staff was super friendly. The store stocks a very impressive collection of shoes. Love the Vans!

Will at Platypus Swanston Street was so lovely and had the friendliest smile! I was walking in the city in heels and needed to change shoes asap. Will helped me as soon as I walked in the store and was quick to grab me the right sizes from out the back. I realised soon I wasn't the same size with extra layers on and Will was happy to go back and get me more sizes without an issue. He had great customer service and his boss spoke very highly of him as well. Thank you Will for helping me decide by being patient and kind.

Can always find something that suits your style and budget..friendly staff and wait time was good.

I was in the Store Friday afternoon and I had a good experience.
I bought a new pair of Adidas and I actually had a chat with a friendly guy, which I believe is name is Mark, from Egypt, very hard worker.
Very good on convince me to buy some cleaning product as well.
The stuff were all friendly and pleasant to help the Customers around.

Was impressed with the level of service received by friendly bespectacled guy. He went above & beyond in his attempts to source a product they did not have in store. Employer should be well pleased to have an individual so competent & diligent on his team.

On the 2nd of July (last Saturday) I visited this store in search of a pair of Windsor Smith shoes (Women's Rebound Buttermilk). However, the store didn't have my size on the shelf so my friend told me to ask an employee just in case. Saiyan was kind enough to double-check the store room for me to see there was a pair. After mentioning how I took a 2-hour trip to look for these shoes and have wanted them so badly, Saiyan searched up stock availability of the shoes at other Platypus stores closer to home. When there was no luck there, Saiyan went above and beyond and ordered me a pair to be delivered to my house so I wouldn't have to keep going forwards and backwards looking for the shoes! The pair came in excellent time and quality and I can't thank Saiyan enough!

Dropped in to grab a pair of Converse High Tops, had a great chat with Mark. His customer service was excellent and made the experience one to remember.

Please pass on some recognition to him team. Will shop again!

Went in "Platypus Shoes", was very pleased with the customer service given to me. the new computer system that allows you to purchase the right footwear for yourself is great. The staff was very honest and suggested me the best shoe under my budget. The shoe is very comfortable and fashionable. Highly Recommended!!!!

Went here recently looking for a pair of sandals and Yan was very helpful, patient and kind! Will definitely be coming back as everyone was super nice :)

Even though the place can become easily crowded, the staff is doing his best to help whenever required. I have been to a few stores of the same brand and this level of service is rare. Thanks, I will visit again!

Got served by Hung at this store, he gave amazing service. It was busy and he had to help multiple people at once and handled it very smoothly. He helped me find the perfect pair of shoes and really managed to go above and beyond!

Bought some fresh as vans, and i sure did feel off the wall after the awesome customer service Korey gave me. I have never felt so special in my life, my boyfriend of 3 years doesn't make me feel as special as he did. Normally I get quite self conscious about buying shoes and taking my shoes off because its safe to say my feet are not my strong point but that was none of Korey's concern he purely wanted me to find the perfect every day shoes to make me feel good in my new kicks. I have been walking around Melbourne like im the Queen of Melbourne (i am but its just not talked about) I've even been doing the heel-click jump just so people know whats up

About 2 weeks ago, the manager here went above and beyond to rectify a problem other platypus stores could not amend (exchange on timberland kids boots for a different size) Fantastic customer service and friendly staff ! Thanks heaps guys
