Gravel Bay - Bush Campground

Stunning spot away from the crowds. We took the 4wd track down to the bottom (turn right) with our 21'6 van. Only do this after you've walked the track as it would be impossible to turn around if it was full. There are about 5 spaces scattered around. We didn't make it to the very end space as there was a big rock step to it, but we were happy where we camped.

The cliff makes it a very protected place and you can watch the sunset from your site. There are rocks directly in front of your site but you can walk to a few different beaches. The best is Martin's beach.

Reminds me of the coasts of Scotland. Lovely place to camp. Each spot is quite private and all with excellent views. Wind is calm so great for paddle boarding.

Great place to camp. DO NOT GO IN THE WATER!! my mate snapped this photo of a two female great whites 100 metres off shore, whilst spearfishing. The were believed to be scouting out new snacks, as they spooled my shimano stratic 1000. I never got that cockle back!!

Lovely little spot. If you get there early park at the top and walk down to the pristine beach of white sand and crystal clear water. I didn’t take pics cos I forgot my phone but we stayed in the first camp spot that could only fit 3 vans. You can amble over the rocks to get to bathe but honestly the white sand beach is an easy walk and well worth it. There’s another camp spot after the first one and it’s okay but more rocks to climb over. Only one van stayed there but you could easily fit 3 it just wasn’t close enough to the water for most. The pics do not do this place justice💕

The worst camping experience ever! Took our van almost to the end of the campground and looking out at the sunset thought we had found heaven. However...
Went for a walk on the beach and have never experienced so many flies in my life! The thorns in the terrain were so long and brutal I had to throw out my thongs after they'd snapped off and kept poking through the soles. In the morning, mozzies had replaced the plague of flies in numbers I can't even describe. It was hell. Our car and van were heavily scratched and snagged on bushes on the tight exit road. Also got a flat tyre, possibly from the box (?) thorns. Would not go back if you paid me.
