Great experience watching Dune 2. Xtremescreen ticket was well worth it, no need to get Lux if all you want is the recliner chairs. Very clean and tidy cinema and bathrooms. Staff were very friendly. Dune 2 was brilliant 👏

Unbelievable cinema. The luxury of walking in and being able to pick food at your own pace along with staff that are always attentive. The sound and picture quality is the best you can get in Melbourne. Often at cinemas the seats recline but not that much, often just to tick a box. However at Docklands Hoyts you can recline the whole way back. The most comfortable, enjoyable mainstream cinema in Melbourne. I should have written this review earlier as I have been there 27 times.

Hoyts Docklands is the best Hoyts in Melbourne for me. Recliners are comfy and specially Audio and Video quality is excellent compared to other places. Even though I live in a northern suburb I come to Docklands Hoyts to watch my favourite movies. **I have only watched on Xtremescreen so don’t know about standard.** Hoyts Docklands never disappointed me.

Place is kept clean and friendly staff. Love all seats are reclining seats here :) the sound system seems better than MC. I wish they would also host the special concert shows here too 🤞

We visit Hoyts because firstly it is nearby & the best theatre in Melbourne - all seats are like gold class - have drink holders, and can be adjusted for comfort. Parking underneath is easily accessible and only $4.
Very clean and new with super comfortable reclining seats. Though the food is insanely expensive. Thank you team District docklands Hoyts!

The place is AMAZING.
The screen is huge and the seats were perfectly planned so you can not see any head in front of you during the film.
The sound system is insane, makes you feel that you're part of the movie. Highly recommend 👍

Comfortable movie experience, cozy seats, top choice💕

Great experience at the xtremescreen at HOYTS district Docklands. Great comfortable chairs with recliner and a big screen with great audio - what more could you need! The equivalent of a lux experience at other cinema companies I would say!

Went on a weekday morning to watch Spider-Man. Xtreme theatre had great Dolby Atmos sound, reclining seats and was empty! The kids had a wonderful time. Toilets were clean and easily accessible for toilet breaks.

Hoyts Cinema in Docklands offers a modern and comfortable movie-watching experience. However, consider improving concession options and implementing faster ticketing processes for an even better customer experience.

I love the movies so 5 stars always. But I wish they had hot popcorn. Not a huge fan of the self-serve popcorn sitting under heat lamps. Especially when it's midweek, so it would just be sitting there for hours.

Great modern cinema, clean and comfortable. Extreme screen will literally shake you.

Way better than Melb Central’s. Huge. Seats with incliner. It gets quite empty at night and doe it can be scary if you go home by yourself. Would go to this HOYTS instead of the one in Melb Central tbh everything is just better (its worth the travel) 🤲

This has to be the best cinema in Melbourne.
Every seat is leather reclining with heaps of leg room.
Candy bar is self served and well laid out.
Coffee / tea / bar serving alcohol is there as well as Ben & Jerry's.

Parking at Docklands is around $16 ( it was today) but your movie ticket will half that.

Decent cinema with clean theatres and a good mix of all kinds of movies from across the world

I would really like to thank Brittany and Amelia from Hoyts District Docklands for their immense support last week. I felt really ill at the theatre and they took a lot of care of me during that time. They are real gems and Hoyts is really lucky to have them in their team. I will definitely keep them in mind every time I visit Hoyts and would like to thank them once again from the bottom of my heart for all they did for me. Kudos to you ladies! Keep up the good work!

Super clean! Being a first-timer, it is a little confusing on getting snacks before the movie via self-service. However, staff is friendly and attentive! Just ask your way! This cinema in Docklands is generally quiet and provides a quality feel to it. Cash and card payments accepted. Wheelchair accessible. Parking available in shopping centre. Overall very satisfied and definitely would recommend!

HOYTS Docklands is a fantastic place to go and watch a movie! The staff are consummate professionals - friendly and attentive, and will make your movie-going experience top notch. We have had the pleasure of working with them on several promotions and it’s always an absolute blast!
