beautiful spot for a dinner date. it’s expensive but worth every scent. the service is warm, welcoming and very attentive. the food was incredible, served promptly and packed with intricate flavours. i can’t recommend this place enough, if you’re willing to dish out the coin, you will receive every cents worth with atmosphere, flavour and service!

Lagotto is always a great idea. The food and team are just incredible and make you feel at home. A special thank you to Liam, Matteo and Luke for always making us feel welcome and for creating magic.

Special tip - book yourself in on a Sunday for their Pasta with friends set menu - new menu items on trial and great value for money.

This would have to be one of the best places I’ve ever eaten at in Melbourne and I’ve lived here my whole life. I was genuinely blown away by every dish. I will be returning again and again. I can’t believe this place is a 5 minute drive from my house and I’ve been missing out this whole time… I wish I could give more than 5 stars for all of the above. Service, atmosphere and food for all top tier 🩵

Came across this restaurant from a TikTok review and upon further research decided to book for my husbands 30th birthday. To say we were blown away by the food and service would be an understatement. The lovely waitstaff did say the chefs menu was a lot of food, and it did not disappoint. We even had to get the delicious dessert to go, could not let the tiramisu go to waste. We can definitely see why people come to Lagotto just for the bread and butter dish, it was insanely good. We were definitely impressed, would recommend and return any time.

It’s very cute inside, very inviting, friendly staff. Loved the focaccia and pasta. Really enjoyed our dinner here!

Lagotto was incredibly impressive! The dishes were bursting with flavor while maintaining a delightful simplicity. The risotto was velvety, the wagyu rump was tender, and the focaccia had just the right amount of chewiness. Luke, was remarkably attentive, providing excellent suggestions and infusing our table with vibrant energy. I highly recommend giving Lagotto a try—it's now my favorite spot to dine.

Our whole experience here was incredible, my whole group loved it from start to finish. The skill required to create such cuisine was evident, as the array of flavours was far beyond what I have ever experienced. The staff were delightful to chat to, and spoke with a confidence knowing they were about to serve us the meal of a lifetime. The price was a bit higher than I would ordinarily justify for a dinner with friends, but it was so worth it all things considered. I would certainly love to come back again.

Some of the best food and service I’ve ever had! Really attentive and knowledgeable staff with a perfectly paced meal, everything was exquisite. The experience felt really special without feeling snobbish or overdone. Will be returning!

Foccacia - beyond amazing. Loved the butter(??) which came with it.
Tuna pasta - incredibly yummy. May be overly rich if you have the whole thing by urself, so highly recommend to share it with friend.
Lobster pasta - really tasty as well!!

We were so fulll by the end of it. Waitress was lovely. A little cold sitting outside, but we only booked this place in the morning.

Ambience looked amazing inside, but outside was great too and we got blankets :)

One of my favourite dinners ever!! It was surprisingly chilly outside for these Sydneysiders but the blankets at each table were so damn cute that we didn't even mind, and the team let us move inside once there was a spare table. Food was delicious, especially the entrees (we had the chef's menu) and the staff were lovely. Have already recommended to friends and will definitely be back next time we visit Melbourne!

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Everything was delicious and the service was so good. Perfect date night spot.

This is my second time here and it did not disappoint. Both times I’ve been, the staff have been great and are extremely knowledgeable about the menu and our cups were never empty! The food is a 10/10! The restaurant itself isn’t large but the space is well used and the atmosphere is great with not too loud back ground music and lovely ambient lighting in the evening. Highly recommend if you’re considering.

Had an amazing lunch, very relaxed mood, highly recommend because I've heard they can be super busy.

We had the set menu that was delicious. It had an amazing pasta with fresh tuna and a zesty sauce.

Great dining experience at this restaurant! Everything we ordered was really great. My stand-out favourites were the foccacia, beef tartare and the squid ink pasta with moreton bay bug. Service and venue itself also very good, highly recommend.

It was our first time at Lagotto, unexpectedly beautiful interior and tasteful atmospheric music greets u warmly as do the friendly staff here. Food was Stunningly presented in an unpretentious way with bold rich flavours throughout. A tad truffle heavy in dessert but still delicious and interesting. Thank you for upholding a high standard of hospitality, we will be back for sure!

Wonderful experience dining at Lagotto with my husband. He had the ‘truffle and friends’ set menu which was just amazing. Each dish was better than the next. Staff was very friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

We sat by the window at the high table.. Perfect for a couple.. Lovely and warm service the moment we walked in! Food was lovely and rich..
The prawn was lovely.. I always appreciate a good nduja sauce..
The pasta had layers of favours with the right Al Dente pasta. I would happily visit again and mop up all the sauce with the home.made focaccia the next time.
We had the O'Connor steak which was delicious and cooked right to our liking - medium rare and fat rendered . We ordered extra sauce which was rich and glistening.
Menu maybe a tad small but done very well which is the most important thing. Kudos to the front of house and lovely chefs! Thank you.
