Melbourne Artists' Supplies

Such friendly and helpful staff !! Love coming here to shop for my art supplies. Perfect to find nice gifts for artists too.

I usually go to the artshed for my paints and other various supplies. I knew of this store having been there once before,so as I got off the train the opportunity was there so I took it. It's a corner store opposite the train station and right were the lights are to cross Nepean near impossible to miss the store. There is a small shopping strip and the only store that has been there for as long as I can remember. Now the store is narrow but long, as you walk in a nice display case looks minimalistic but very artistic. The shelfs are full of supplies and the rest are full of colour from the brand's they sell. It would be a great job for a art student, and I assume a great job such a creative job. As for me I found that they sell a particular brand of paint that I use. Now my primary shopping gets done from the artshed but I will be buying from there as because of the paint that I like and I wouldn't want to see that place not exist. To the artists around the store that live close try and support it because one thing that we lost and continue to loose is the local shops. Going to a shopping centre is not something I look forward to do my shopping

Good range of artists supplies, very polite and helpful staff. I have been going to the little collins street store before they closed down.

However I recently did a phone order and Amy made the entire phone order process very easy,
There was an item not available in store but Amy was proactive and checked the other store and made sure that they would deliver it together with the other ordered items. Keep up the good work!

In the last fortnight I’ve called both the Brunswick and Hampton East stores. Both were very friendly, great product knowledge, delivery super quick and my delicate product order was posted in a professional manor and arrived in great nic compared to every where else I’ve ordered supplies from.
These guys are my new “go to” for my art supplies!

I called another competitor initially for some large sheets of water colour paper and they were unable to process my request for click and collect over the phone even though I had done it the time before. I then called the wonderful folks at Melbourne art supplies and spoke to Luke (apologies if I got the name wrong) who was able to process my request for same day pick up! The exact same thing I requested at the competition but were unable to accomodate my request. I was so happy that I ended up spending another 100 bucks! Thank you again for your help! I will defs only be shopping at MAS from now on! Cannot recommend them enough!

My absolute favourite art store. I feel great just walking in to the smell of paper and pencils. 100% recommended. They stock only high quality papers and have everything to help the artist. And in case you are wondering...no I don't work there or know of/related to anyone who does. Artists are passionate people! Been a loyal customer for over 15 years...they are THE best..trust me :)

Excellent service! the staff are great with any enquires and great product knowledge. I love the stretched canvases and professional manner they are known for! Well done team.

Came into the shop yesterday and the 2 girls were extremely helpful and friendly. I wasn’t sure about the details of a specific art competition and the employees made the extra effort to ring up the youth council to check for me. Little things like that go a long way! :D
