Lachlan is an amazing surgeon! Over the years I have seen many surgeons and Lachlan is by far the best. His caring attitude and thoughtful communication helps you know exactly what your options are and how best to proceed. His Professional attitude and knowledge are exceptional and I Highly recommend.
Jess his amazing PA is a wonderful liaison and a true asset which made the whole communication process so much easier. You don’t feel like just another number but a valued patient. Overall a great team.

Dr Batty preformed knee surgery on me earlier this year.
He walked me through the process really well and advised me of all my options, including non surgical approaches.
The day of the surgery he informed me of everything that would happen and I was up and moving faster than I expected.
This was my first knee operation, so I didn't realize how much time it would take to fully heal. Though Dr Batty kept me grounded and following my recovery plan.
The knee is feeling better than ever, and I'm back to all my sports activities with no problem. In fact, it feels better than my other knee now.
I appreciated all his help and support during the surgery and recovery.

Both Dr Lachlan Batty and his receptionist Jess were amazing to deal with from the very start up until this day. For such a busy surgeon i have never felt like just a number, he is so caring and is regularly following up along with being able to contact both himself and Jess with any questions no matter how big or small.

I was so happy with my arthroscope on my knee and my recovery was a lot quicker and pain free than I anticipated. Lachlan Batty was very professional but also thorough and patient, explaining what he was going to do and afterwards what he did. He had pictures so you could visually understand what he did. His bedside manner is exceptional, he puts you at ease straight away. A lovely person and would highly recommend him.

I recently saw Lachlan for a partial knee replacement. I found Lachlan and his team to be highly professional and very easy to deal with.
To say I am ecstatic with the results of the surgery would an understatement.
During the whole process I have found Lachlan to be approachable and understanding, I have been very satisfied with all my dealing with both Lachlan and his whole team.

Lachlan came highly recommended and didn’t disappoint! My knee is feeling great and I couldn’t be happier.

Had a major knee injury which included acl and lateral collateral rupture as well as some nerve damage. Given it was such a major injury my expectations were fairly low, knowing there are a lot of variables and possible speed humps along the way including the risk of stiffness in the knee.

Lachan and his team appreciated that the surgery was urgent and booked me in within days. The surgery went great given the severity of the injury. Following recovery I was able to Fully straighten my knee and had no adverse reactions. The recovery has been tough but made made alot easier knowing that I did everything right by choosing Mr Batty and have had about as good an outcome I could have asked for.

One final thing is that communication was amazing prior to the surgery, but he and Jess showed genuine care about my recovery after the surgery.

Would and have recommended Mr Batty and Orthosport.
