Maldon Hotel

We went for lunch and it was great. We had chicken parma and bangers and mash. Both meals were brought out in a good time frame, and both were very enjoyable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and in a beautiful little town full of history. Definitely worth a visit both the hotel and the town.

Absolutely loved this pub ! Staff are incredibly friendly, food is unreal and it has that old fashioned Aussie feel to it. Just had the best time here. They have indoor and outdoor areas outdoor is great fun. The show stopper has the be the cutlets ! They were something I could have ordered 10 times over.
If you are ever in Maldon I highly recommend it here. It’s also super easy to park, you can park on the street or even go round the back for more options there. 10/10 !!

This was a fantastic venue for our lunch stop.. We did the Diesel train from Castlemaine to Maldon. We decided to go for lunch to Maldon hotel. We were a group of 8 people. The food and beers were fantastic. The Lady at the counter today 24th Jan was amazing and Very Very helpful.. sorry I didn't get her name..but thank you. The prices were quite reasonable as well..

Lovely meals and generous portions, some background music would be a nice addition.

Food was up to the usual standard (nice) and a great selection to pick from. A wood fire was burning and the lass behind the bar was chirpy and helpful. It can get quite busy on the nice weekends but a good place to stop and have a drink or a meal. If you can it doesn't hurt to book ahead on the weekends. Plenty of parking out back if the Main Street is full.

We had the burgers. Great size and very tasty! Crispy chips and came out in good time, even though they were busy. Good service. Would definitely return.

Lovely quiet rooms, comfy beds and the owners were great.

First time there, big dining area plus a great outdoor area. All very clean (incl loo). Very quick meal service considering they were busy. Good food/drinks, good prices.

After walking around old mining sites, the hotel was a welcome resting place to have some lunch. The plan was to have soup and toast, but the Bangers and Mash were recommended and sounded irresistible. They were very enjoyable and a good quality snag. My wife had fisherman's basket and enjoyed that to. The red wine with lunch really topped of a good pub meal.
