Gorgeous river bend swimming hole with grassy banks and well protected by sheer cliffs and a few trees dotted around. Crystal clear cool water with a few spots to jump in and plenty of shallower areas too.

a beautiful place to swim for warm days. Some shallow parts are too rocky.

Such a gorgeous spot to swim! Just be careful though, the current is really strong and you can easily get washed down river. Definitely worth a visit and swim!

Fantastic afternoon shaded picnic spot.

Gentle stream but deep enough for a paddle with the kids. BBQ spots for wood fires and a few trees scattered down the reserve.

No toilets but the Buchan water is beautiful. Sitting on the pebble beach you are bound to see small birds swooping down from the cliffs.
