Dr Michael Chen has just opened a new life for me! After removing cataracts from both eyes I immediately have 20:20 vision, only need specs for reading, pharmacy cheap readers are adequate

Had cataract surgery on my right eye performed by Dr Michael Chen ... this eye, from childhood, had been very poor, what they termed " a lazy eye". I relied on the left eye for overall 20/20 vision. After the operation the right eye is now better than the left, remarkable. An added bonus colour intensity improved 10-20%. Great painless treatment and nice staff. Highly recommended.

I suffered serious iritis in my right eye and have been treated by the doctors in this clinic one and a half year ago. I received high quality professional treatment and fully recovered. This year my cataract became worse. Dr Michael Chen arranged and performed an operation on me one month ago. Everything went well. The procedure only took less than half hour. The result is marvellous. Now the vision of my “refurbished “ right eye become 20/20. That's great. I’m so happy and so grateful by the experience.

This is clearly a well-run practice - all staff were very friendly, professional and efficient. The premises was immaculate, well-equipped and operated in a COVID-safe way. Dr William Tao has great people skills and was extremely knowledgeable. He didn't rush and was happy to explain anything I asked about. All fees and charges were clearly explained at the outset. A great experience from start to finish.

Dr Chen performed cataract removal surgery on both of my eyes, 4 weeks apart. Although I breezed through the first surgery, I had a difficult experience with the second surgery ... Dr Chen was kind, understanding and compassionate throughout, ensuring my peace of mind and comfort were of paramount importance during my treatment. A few months down the track, I now have "better than 20:20" vision and couldn't be happier. The staff in the clinic are friendly and attentive. Overall, excellent service and a great result. I highly recommend this specialist! The staff is friendly and very professional. They have impressive state of the art technology in all eye tests conducted. Those of course provide the best possible clarity and help in informing best treatments options. All is done on the day of your appointment as well as laser eye surgery if need be like in my mothers case. Dr Alex Tan is an excellent specialist who explains the procedures in a clear and understandable manner and is very passionate about his work and in providing the best treatment to his patients. I had a great experience with Dandenong Specialist Eye Surgeons. I saw Dr Chen, who I found to be very profession and efficient. I was skeptical about having laser eye correction, however it has been an amazing experience.

Great experience as a first timer. I had my cataract surgery done by Dr Alexander Tan . He did a great job with my first ever cataract surgery and explained everything to me in a very clear manner.
