we got a kebab, mix meal of the day, adana skewer on the side and wow! the quality and quantity were amazing. the owner truly loads up your meal and you get your moneys worth, the kebab turkish bread is made fresh every morning and the lamb and chicken shavings were very different to other kebab joints, tasted a lot more fresh and wasn’t overdone with spices. the store was very clean and tidy and when it gets busy it’s BUSY!! service was fast and we really enjoyed our meal. also the owner was nice enough to add an additional dip for us to try.

would highly highly recommend and cannot wait to go back!!! a must visit

My mother in law recently came to live in Australia from the United States, and we had her try a Halal Snack Pack for the first time. The mixed meat HSP from Altona Kebab House absolutely blew her mind. Even for someone from the USA the portion size is extremely generous. Now she wants one every month!

The traditional kebabs are also excellent, with options like tabbouleh and pickled veg in addition to the classic lettuce, tomato and onion. A particular highlight is the chargrilled lamb shish kebab, which is diced chunks of meat rather than minced kofta. It takes slightly longer to cook but it's well worth the wait.

Had a kebab here for the first time ordered a mix (chicken and lamb) in Turkish bread and was very nice. Staff are very friendly and service is prompt.

When our favourite kebab shop closed awhile back we were devastated, but quickly found our new kebabs here and WOW! Even better than our previous ones👌🏼🥰We prefer to have these every Saturday & watch tv, instead of going out. Highly recommended🤩

The HSP is the biggest and best we've had. The meat loaded is more than double the amount you get anywhere. We could have shared the medium, the kids could of divided the medium between 3. Definatly worth coming down for a feed...

Seriously up there with the best lamb kebabs, and service cleanliness is second to none. Honestly perfect on all levels.

We were served by a lovely young lady that suggested that we try the kebab on their home baked Turkish bread.
OMG, Just got home and ate our kebab.
1st, what a meal. It was stuffed to the brim and now so are we.
2nd, fresh, delicious, tasty food.
3rd, wonderful, courteous service.
4th, beyond value for money.
5th, highly recommended, and will be passing it on personally to our friends.

Great price, great friendly staff, and most importantly ... great HSP WITH HOLY TRINITY SAUCE TOPPED WITH GREAT PORTION AT GREAT PRICE! Is it michelin star level ? Nope. Is it a great kebab ? Yep. As good as a kebab place gets.
Oh and the baklava here is solid - sweet and sloppy, down it with hot tea after the HSP. 5/5 ALTONA KEBAB HOUSE. we shall return on multiple occasions.

Hands down one of, if not the best kebab’s I’ve ever tasted. That Turkish bread is just too good. They do not hold back on fillings and sauces, and are always so moist and tasty.

The food is absolutely amazing, couldn't recommend it enough. The superb quality of the food and the amount of food for their prices was remarkable. Staff are wonderful too. Walked in 10 minutes after their said closing time and they were happy to serve me and the 3 other people who walked in after me.
