Stansbury Holiday Motel

Fantastic spot with beautiful ocean views from the room. Well appointed room with everything we needed. Dave was really friendly (unfortunately Tracey was away) and our stay was really enjoyable. Would definitely stay there again.

Just want to thank the owners for sharing their "little piece of paradise" with us and our fur baby. Really lovely location, felt so welcome, and they were happy to help anyway they could.
Room was amazing, had everything, very clean and comfy, very convenient location, easy to take the dog for a walk, fantastic meal just down the beach a bit. Great value!

Couldn't thank the guy enough who works here or the owner. For fitting us in really short notice. The room was very clean and felt very inviting. Very close to the jetty amazing water front view great to wake up too while having a cuppa. Definitely worth the price. Definitely will be seeing us again. Thanks again mate. You are the best.

What an amazing little slice of heaven 😍 the owner Tracy and her husband couldn't of been nicer so friendly and welcoming 😊 room was absolutely fantastic with everything you need and the view omg ❤ we stayed in no 16 and it was perfect so perfect I didn't want to leave. Super views over bay. Easy walkway to jetty. Friendly staff very clean ,pool and gazebo. Crab cooking facilities,,, great place see ya next time thankyou.

I drove over 3 hours to stay at the Stansbury Holiday Motel. It was worth every metre and every minute. The motel is clean, tidy, well located and very comfortable. If you want 5 star accommodation then you are in the wrong part of the world. If you want comfort, welcome and warm hospitality then look no further. Tracey & David run a good house and are very helpful. Highly professional & welcoming. I will be back soon and as often as I can. The Yorke Peninsula is a great part of SA and there is so much to see and do. Fresh seafood from oysters onward. Try it. I believe you will enjoy it. CP

Not only is this a beautiful, calming and uplifting environment. The pleasantries don't end. From the moment you arrive, the warm welcome, the beautiful views, a spotlessly attractive room, good quality teas and coffee , well maintained through out and a pool. I have found a Yorke Peninsular gem.
And the charges are good!
The driveway is such a lovely view if you are coming in at night. The night time views from the lawn, entice you to simply sit, admire the night sky and the township lights. Soul food.

Absolutely stunning views and grounds to stay on.. will definitely be returning in the warmer weather.. and the lady who owns the place is awesome she gave us a warning about where to park our car so the birds don’t pop all over our car

Good old aussie hospitality! Dave and Tracey are fabulous hosts of this well-looked-after and squeaky-clean regional motel. A peaceful and perfect stay for anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. Superb sunrise from all the rooms in the mornings over the oceanfront. Thanks for having us!

What I look for when I book Accommadations in rural Australia other then the location ( which is perfect mind you) is:
1-Clean and inviting - a happy place to come after a day of exploration.
2- service. kind but more than that - real, authentic to the place we visit and not to my every whim, helpful in creating a perfect vacation - they are the locals, they know best.
3- facility and the little things.
a place that shows you that someone actually put some thought in to making your experience wonderful, down to the little things.
You guessed right, I have find all of the above in this little piece of heaven. Tracy and Dave created a place unique as they are, constantly maintained and clean with solutions to any need arising on your trip, they’ve seen it all and are ready for you.
My only regret was not listening to Tracy and book the spa room, we took the basic room which was perfect, large, view to the ocean, perfect, but when Tracy showed me the spa room I was kicking myself, it’s just another level, even bigger, with a private balcony that can sit a family for dinner, ocean in front of you to entertain you. Damn 😊
What’s left is to explore this amazing country of ours.

We've just returned from 3 nights in a roomy self-contained unit and can't speak highly enough of the motel and of the friendly couple running it. David asked us repeatedly if he could do anything for us and after the 2nd night he placed a supply of fresh linen & supplies on our deck table - unasked. That doesn't happen in many places.

He spoke highly of the owner who had recently bought expensive new beds and even a $3000 leather lounge - both very comfortable. It is a cut above other motels - even the free internet is speedy - a rarety. The sea view couldn't be more spectacular either.

We had a happy stay & hope to return.

Greeted on arrival. Room was clean and well equipped. Comfortable bed. Excellent quality sheets and towels.
Lovely sea view. Gardens very neat and tidy. Thankyou Tracy David and Brad. We will definitely be back. Pet friendly room. Reasonable prices.

My husband and I stayed there recently. We were lucky enough to have a dog friendly room, for our fur friend Jack. Fully self contained. It was very clean. Management was exceptional, they couldn't do enough for us, when asked. Views from our room and every room in the motel are wonderful. Fish cleaning facility and crab boiler were a bonus. Great breakfast. On a clear day you can see the oyster beds out in the bay. Will stay there again. Mark and Vicki

Myself and my family have been coming back for years now and Tracey and Dave do amazing job I have 6 kids and need 2 rooms and Tracey does amazing to accommodate all of us my kids love it there.we now have just brought ourselves a holiday home up there but we definitely pop in and say hello to these guys definitely give them 10/10.

There is no way to fault anything about this amazing piece of paradise. My soon to be wife and I went for a 2 night stay and we loved it that much we stayed a 3rd night. We spoke to Tracy about our honeymoon and wanting our first stop to be here, she invited us to look at the spa suite which was beautiful with an incredible view so we booked it.

I had taken my time to read old reviews and I can't agree with any of them. We 100 percent recommend the Stansbury Holiday Motel to everyone.

Close to fishing, lots of local attractions, very friendly staff, in ground pool, bbq area, giant games (jenga/connect 4) great place for the family or a romantic getaway

Tracy and Dave you have done an amazing job turning this place around.

I have stayed st this motel numerous times the latest being a couple of weeks ago . Jo and Vern are extremely friendly, the rooms and facilities have always been clean. The pool area ,bbq area and the condition of the grounds are excellent. The view speaks for it self “amazing”. I remember one time the air conditioner didn’t work and it was replaced immediately the next morning, with chocolates an apology and small refund.

Rooms are very comfortable clean big screen smart TV with Netflix Disney and other aps great views and friendly staff. They even offered to give us a ride to the pub and back when we went for a meal AAA+
