Forest Gate Estate

Beautiful location, great wines and good company! Forest Gate Estate is a stunning place just off the main road. Chris the owner served us and gave us some great info about the wines and area! Highly recommend 😀

Local produce... Amazing service.... I couldn't recommend this place any higher.. The owner was extremely welcoming and for a new winery in the region they are doing an amazing job... I would definitely be coming back and highly recall wines.

We happened upon this boutique winery, whilst we were spending Easter, near Avoca. The 4 of us strolled in for a tasting, not realizing it was by "appointment only". We could not have received a more friendly welcome; Chris, the owner, was a fount of knowledge on the area and wines and we thoroughly enjoyed his conversation. After apologising for having no food to accompany his superb red wines, he managed to provide a plate of cheese, grapes and crackers. The surroundings and decor are very pleasant too, and we reluctantly tore ourselves away after a lovely visit to Chris and his vines. We will be back another time.
