I have visited Melbourne branch last week
Regarding NRI account .
Vaishnavi was so helpful she resolved all my queries thanks to her and SBI Melbourne staff for quality service.
only thing is you have to book an appointment in advance on website https://www.sbisyd.com.au/

It was really good experience here. We received the service we need within a little time. Thank you Vaishnavi!!! People who visit Melbourne branch must call SBI Melbourne and this call is not attended by Melbourne office staff, indeed this call will be attended by Sydney office staff and then they forward it to Melbourne office if you wanna go to Melbourne office. I phoned them but didn't attend the call and I requested a call back and nobody did. If you call them on that phone number given your call may be attended at that time or they may give call back from Sydney office next day. It's advised that we need to make an appointment if we visit the SBI office Melbourne.

Vaishnavi is outstanding in resolving all the queries and has always welcomed all the people with smile .Her generosity and helpful nature stands out alongwith the other staff at SBI Melbourne.

SBI as a bank has very different banking protocols to my au bank. Which is why I truely appreciated all of the help and patience from the great staff especially Vaishnavi. Honestly she was a patient as a saint, really assisted me in understanding what forms and documents were necessary. Really clear with giving instructions and updates. Vaishnavi went above and beyond following things up for me and assisting me via emails and in person appointments. Thank you again Vaishnavi!!

Excellent customer service by the Melbourne staff during the form filling, filing and guidance with chase up and once cards & other documents started coming through from India.
I've on occasions had to speak to Sydney staff as well and was guided correctly.
And using the services in Hyderabad, Miyapur Branch in India currently without any issues

Writing this review to thank for the excellent customer service received from Sakshi. She helped me and my grandpa with attesting some documents. She was super patient even when we had forgotten some documents. You don't usually get this level of service these days and it was delightful to see someone who was excellent at their job, knowledgeable, courteous and cared about customer service.

This rating is for the exceptional Customer service and experience which is not expected from SBI through past experiences. However there is a new staff member Sakshi who is handling the branch with a lot of patience, is knowledgeable and willing to help all customers. Not just me but the previous 3 customers before me who were senior citizens were so happy with her and I had the same experience. Very unlikely for SBI to have such staff members.
