Gisborne BAKERY + CAFE

Great coffee and the best sausage roll I’ve had in years.
Will come back another time to sample more of the huge range of meals on offer.

We were having a short stay in Gisborne and found this cafe. The satay chicken wrap is delicious. Absolutely delicious sausage roll, sweet curry beef pie and vegetarian pie. Get in before midday to get your pies. Absolutely fabulous and sells out very fast.

If you would like a country breakfast or lunch home made rolls and pies freshly made cakes a coffee or milkshake them this is the place to come . I highly recommend to stop in

First time here and the pies were delicious and coffee was made just the way I like it. Atmosphere was cosy and service was great.

This cafe brings in the awards! It says 2nd best sausage roll but I'd like to know who these judges were, must've been rigged, easily could have won with the sausage rolls being so delicious!

Was in the mood for something sweet.. and was not disappointed.. Apple slice was yummy.

Great place for good coffee and bakery. Only problem is, they are always running out of pasties, pies and sausage rolls during lunchtime. These are the eats they are well renown for. People are being turned away disappointed as there’s none left.

Love this place. Go there for my morning coffee most days. Consistently good and great meat pies.

Great experience at the Gisborne Bakery + Cafe. We stopped in from Melbourne and found friendly staff and good tasty food. My son enjoyed the sweet cookies, and i enjoyed a hot pie. Will return on our next adventure up in the Gisborne area.

Desserts are super delicious with hot chocolate, overall service was awesome. Love the place

Amazing food and service. Super friendly staff, I had beef curry pies, the best pies I've ever eaten. Looking at the vanilla and apple slices, didn't buy any, I was full, they are the size of door steps. Next time it will be them. I'll be back next weekend.

This place is very popular and with good cause. Tasty food. Great service. And plenty of space.

Friendly and welcoming. Excellent pies as evidenced by a recent award and depending on the barista on duty, very good coffee. A pleasant place to sit and relax with lots of natural light and plenty of space. The breakfasts look fantastic too although I've only seen other peoples' and haven't had one myself as yet. Pretty amazing selection of cakes on display.

Great food, good prices, very friendly

Always busy but the sausage rolls are well worth the wait! Great bakery/cafe and one of my regular stops when passing through.

The pastie I just ate was amazing, full of veg, meat and super tasty and I would rate it as the best I have ever tasted by far. I would say they would be award winning!
