I visited this store yesterday and spoke to Hamish. I agree with all those positive comments about Hamish - he is nice and very helpful. I gave him a list what I was looking for, and he gave me the products. I will definitely come back if I need something. It is a nice convenient store for wine/beer/spirits-making enthusiasts!

Hi Hamish.
Gifted myself a Turbo 500 set up with the filter this Christmas. Could not be happier with the product and the excellent service and advice by the staff at AHB. Slightly botched my first run , totally my fault for not adding the "conditioner". I now understand surge boiling. Second run was perfect producing 3.5 litres at 93%.
My only disappointment is that I didn't get onto this years ago.

These guys are brewers themselves not just retailers. You can go there and ask questions and be sure they will give you a qualified opinion.

Hamish went above and beyond to help me, he even stayed after hours to make sure I could pick up my order. I would like to give Hamish 10/10 for his customer service.

Products are at a high standard, as is the knowledge and advice. When I had a matter go askew, there was a quick customer phone call followed by ideas and flexibility and it was fixed - Iliked the post-support and customer focus I got.

I have been using Australian Home Brewing for many years and have always found Hamish and the team to be very helpful, heaps of knowledge and very responsive. Mail orders have been slower than competitors but did improve with the last order and orders always arrive well packed every time. There is a persistent issue with me getting two emails for everything which is a little frustrating but gremlins are gremlins🫤🫤

I ordered ingredients online, and received it quickly. Customer service was great and the instructions were really clear for a home brewing novice like myself. Will be ordering through them much more frequently.

I have never had any problem dealing online with AHB. Deliveries are always prompt to my doorstep.They are always very helpful on the phone for any problems I may have from time to time. usually my fault !! I reccomend them completely.

I was very impressed by and very pleased with the service provided by Australian Home Brewing. On-line ordering was not a problem. I was not able to get such low prices anywhere else. Communications with Hamish were excellent. The purchased items were delivered within days. AHB is highly recommended.

Who knew that making your own scotch isn't as easy as putting a potato in and alcohol drips out..? Spoke with Hamish here, if there's something he doesn't know about brewing then it's not worth knowing. My fermenter is currently on day #2 and, with Hamish's instructions, happily bubbling away. I like to think it's the scotch snoring while it gets beauty sleep...

I have only started a project of homebrewing recently and had issues sourcing cheap demijohns from Amazon.
So this lead me to look more local for these.
To my surprise I was able to source all equipment for a cheaper price with less wait time.

The cherry on top is the attention to detail which is undertaken by the staff.
I had ordered bungs that were not the right size for the demijohn.
Hamish must be taking meticulous care with orders as he called me to confirm if the items were meant to go together.
He then upgraded the part so that I would get a complete kit and would be able to start brewing on the day of arrival.

I cannot recommend this store enough.
