Exceptional food! All so fresh with a great balance of delicate subtle flavours (duck fried rice, vegan duck, chinese brocoli) and bold flavours (mustard beef and salt + honey pepper chicken ribs). Huge portions of delightful deliciousness

We came here for yumcha for the first time and although initially disappointed with the missing carts floating around, we have to admit the food makes up for it. The dumpling skins might be a little thick to my liking but the prawn filling was bouncy and our favourite was the honey Pepper Chicken Ribs. It's not your typical yumcha dish but think of it as a sampler of their house specialty.

East Imperial should be your go to Chinese. Fresh, traditional and high quality everything. The mustard beef remains the most delicious, special dish. Honourable mentions for the vegan duck, duck fried rice, Chinese greens and chicken ribs. Very happy

Arthur and the owner Aunty Chen are very friendly. They make you feel like home. Apart from the dishes from the menu, you can also call and tell them what you like and order customised private dishes. Service is definitely 5 star. The restaurant is nice and quiet which is good for friends gathers and chat. Definitely first preference Chinese restaurant for our family.

I had the pleasure of dining here yesterday evening. I found the service to be both friendly and quick, and the food exceeded my expectations my personal favourite was the Peking duck. I would highly recommend eating here to anyone as the food quality is superb and the prices are more then reasonable.

Wonderful Chinese restaurant with great food at very reasonable prices.
Loved the dumplings and shared Peking duck, deep fried king prawns with spicy salt, black pepper shredded beef on dry fried noodles and veggie fried rice. All very yummy and generous. Nice friendly service and BYO wine is a bonus. Hope they get through these tough pandemic times because we would like to keep returning. Highly recommended give it a go.

Food is always fresh and delicious. The family that run it are lovely and are always happy to find you a table if you just rock up.

I love this place. The prices are reasonable, the owner looks for the best quality produce. I have lived in China, I married into a Chinese family. In terms of Chinese food, I know what I'm talking about. Talk to the boss, tell her what you like, and they will look after you.

I had a large group dinner at East Imperial last night and it was wonderful! They were extremely accommodating, finding room for extra people that came at the last minute, adjusting the menu at our request, and serving us during the night. On top of that the food was delicious! Lovely, friendly people too. Thank you so much for making my special event such an easy night!
