Piccolina Gelateria

We had Dark Chocolate (dairy free) and Salted Caramel & Peanut butter and immediately concluded that this was the best ice cream we have ever had.
We meant to go to another ice cream store on the same street and accidentally ended up here and did not regret it at all. 100% recommend and no queue when we arrived in the afternoon.

I visited the other day with a friend with a nut and egg allergy and the customer service was lovely. They have many vegan and other options and washed all the equipment before making her a milkshake. On top of this just generally the ice cream was amazing! It was so creamy and smooth and a very generous scoop. I really enjoyed my experience here and will definitely be coming back soon. (I got the honeycomb and it had such nice flavours and large honeycomb chunks in)

Nested down a lane, there is a line for gelato post dinner. This chain of stores has some of the best gelato in the country with a variety of all the best flavours you would expect. No rush once you are in the door and can watch as the staff load up a cone full of your favourite. Worth a try and I almost guarantee you will be back!

Another day, another Piccolina ice cream store…. 🍨
This store is a little on the smaller side compared to others in Melbourne.
Apart from the girls serving not greeting us or being able to smile - the ice cream did not disappoint…
This time I chose from the Gusti Speciali - Twix my way & Peach Melba & I’m glad I did, both flavours were very flavoursome & the texture was ever so soft & creamy 🤤
and I was extremely happy at how generous the serving size was 🍦

Delicious gelato. The weekly specials always have something delicious. I’ve also had the cakes here and the are delicious. Would recommend the bomb Alaska, it’s seriously yummy.

One of my favorite gelato in Melbourne. I ordered pistachio and passion fruits which are so perfect combination. There are so many flavors to choose from. I sat in front of the shop and ate.

Had gelato here at piccolina. Interesting feature of the shop are the sort of colour light boxes showing the menu at the side
Had the single scoop cone for $6.8 , pistachio flavour.
Would say the portion is quite generous , and was a large scoop
My friend had strawberry and thought it wasn’t as good as the pistachio
So choose flavours wisely!

Delicious gelato. I tried Pistachio, the texture is very delicate, you can taste the nutty flavor, a bit salty, but still great.

Located in one of my favourite spots in Melbourne. I got the pistachio gelato and it was delicious!
Recommend eating the ice cream outside there is not much space inside and gets a bit too cozy when everyone stays in the shop to eat.

The best gelato in Melbourne! Such a range of great flavours, and they always have exciting specials. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable of coeliac disease. I believe almost every flavour was gluten free, and they also used a fresh spoon from a fresh batch of gelato to reduce cross contamination, after I advised I was coeliac. Cannot recommend this spot enough!

Great place for ice cream. Tried their honeycomb and pistachio gelato and was super delicious. $6.80 for one scoop cup. Service was also very friendly. Been here many times and does not disappoint.

Piccolina Gelateria offers authentic and fresh gelato in a charming atmosphere. I was served by a very friendly and helpful Argentinian girl. I recommend this place to those looking to enjoy high-quality gelato.

My family had the white chocolate, salted caramel and honeycomb gelato. Generous portion even for single scoop and so so flavourful. I just wish there are more seats for patrons. There were about 2-3small circle tables (2-3 stools each) outside and a long bench (no table) inside.

Tastes like authentic ice cream: the flavours are both typically Italian and adapted to Australian taste, with special flavors available until sold out. Definitely recommend for a light and refreshing snack.

Oh. My. God. Their ice cream is so delicious. We got the dairy free / vegan options of Orange Yuzu and Mango which were recent specials and I could not get enough. The orange Yuzu tasted like a summer cocktail. This is some of the best gelato in Melbourne. 💛💛
