Avoca Cottages

Cottage was very comfortable with excellent hot water and heating. It is very nice inside and everything was very clean. Cottages are facing a deck in a lovely setting, with trees around and overlooking the golf course. After a day’s sightseeing, great to come back to such comfort. They also have an accessible cottage.

Our overnight in Cottage 1 was most enjoyable. The location and internal layout is first class. Sitting on the verandah with a glass of Red and looking over the creek and golf course is so relaxing.. the Kookaburras and Honey Eaters were very active feeding in the garden surrounds.

Managed to get a quick break between lockdowns in Victoria and this was just what we needed. Peaceful and so very relaxing in a lovely setting. The cook-your-own-breakfast was a wonderful surprise included in the price and an incredibly generous amount. Jane, the host, was extremely welcoming and made us feel quite at home. I cannot praise it highly enough! Thanks, Jane, we'll be back when these lockdowns are finished!

Avoca cottages were our choice to stay during a recent trip to the goldfields of central Victoria. These gorgeous cottages are located in a very peaceful area to ensure you get all the rest and relaxation you require. All the cottages are extremely well maintained along with their landscaped gardens and outdoor bbq areas. They are fully self contained with all amenities and spotless throughout which made them a pleasure and the perfect place to stay during our visit. The breakfast basket of fresh local produce was so delicious and it really hits the spot. Jane was the absolute perfect host and couldn’t be more helpful throughout the duration of our stay. We are looking forward to returning many times to these beautiful cottages in the future which are a real credit to Jane

Right on the golf course. The provided breakfasts were lovely, the fruit with the continental included home-grown apricots. A well equiped kitchen makes the cook-your-own breakfast a pleasure. Manager Jane was very generous hospitable - will definitely be back!

Staff went over and above to make us comfortable. Great area for kids to play, relaxing environment and great for a family holiday where each cabin could be booked for different family members and feel like a little community.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable accommodation with a very welcoming host. Generous cook-your-own breakfast with lots of options included in the rate, makes for terrific value. Recommended.
