Was in town passing through today and needed to grab a quick lunch, could not recommend this place more. The lady at the counter was lovely to talk to and really efficient in taking orders at a busy lunch period. The food was fresh and tasty (I ordered the steak sandwich with the ‘lot’ and my friend had the veggie burger and chips), and they were able to make our orders quickly as we were in a rush. At $13 the steak sandwich was also incredibly good value.

We had lunch here on a cold and wet Sunday. To come into this cafe, which was warm and cosy, on such a day was lovely. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food delivered promptly and was very enjoyable. The serve was large and all at a good price.

Lovely country cafe in a beautiful town. Plenty of parking outside… excellent customer and food presented was spot on.. steak sandwich, fish and chips, chix roll.. all great ..👍👍

Passing by the town on the way to WA, stopped here for a quick eat, the staff was friendly and nice, the burger and sandwich we got were both great with reasonable prices!

Just arrived in town for a stopover and decided to have treat after cooking on the road, 👏👏👏👏👏Bloody beautiful, freshest bun I’ve ever had, homemade burger pattie, fresh salad couldn’t even get mouth around it, chips cooked to perfection and plain gravy was tasty as, hubby had fish and chips and was dubious after being on the coast but to his surprise was delicious…. Well done to the young men in the shop it was awesome, thank you 🙏 😊😊

My partner and I share the hamburger with the lot and this would have to be one of the best burgers I have had in I don’t know how long and the prices weren’t outrageous like some other. Keep up the great work 👍

The meals we had over the few days we spent at Peterborough were delicious. The coffee is 10/10. Prices are great as well.

Wife and I popped in for lunch on a saturday. Quick trip up from Adelaide for family reasons to Terowie, then back to Adelaide. Great to get lunch in this great place. A burger as a burger should be, and good value! Friendly staff and homely atmosphere! We'll be back sometime

Honestly the BEST burgers ever. Most burgers I've had from takeaway stores are too small for the bun, or too dry, or no flavour, or way too much flavour added, but the burgers here are absolutely perfect. Definitely my go-to when I'm in Peterborough. Let me know if you ever set up shop in Adelaide 😊

Lovely food. Chicken Schnitzel one of the best in a long time. Fish and chips were also great.

Tried veggie burger and chicken schnitzel with mushroom gravy...it was delicious, well cooked and served hot and everything fresh. I loved it.

THE best chips ever, hot and crispy. Traveling through spending a few days in Peterborough and just had to come back for more.
