If you buy the lamb shanks, I recommend asking for a spoon, these bad boys are so tender I wish I had a spoon to scoop up more mash and gravy with each bite. Enjoyed a coupe froths with some locals, super nice nice town. Look forward to pasing through again.

A lovely old historic double storey pub 🤩. We went in today for lunch and I ordered the Chicken & mustard pasta. I took one look at it with its water thin sauce and took it back. Staff were very understanding and offered an exchange so I had the homemade rissoles with creamy mash which was ok. Staff were very apologetic and accommodating which made the whole experience much more acceptable than it could have been. The bread rolls were the best tho, so hot & crunchy 💕
