Good food and great entertainment all in one place. Good value for money for group dining and friendly staff accommodating all our needs. Can not fault the service. We also had a great time with karaoke. Like the clean and spacious room and very good songs selection. Will return again it was so much fun.

Lovely food, lovely service and great ambiance! Loved the starters, especially the crab croquettes were to die for!! The portions were filling and made from fresh ingredients and everything starting from starters to desserts to drinks was just magical! On Wednesday’s and Thursday’s you can book their dine and sing set where you can enjoy the set menu and then also have a karaoke session💖I would highly recommend you visit!!

The service provided throughout the evening was truly excellent. The food was absolutely delightful and the drink list was impressively extensive. In particular, the cocktails list was nothing short of brilliant. I am extremely satisfied and look forward to returning with my dear friends. While it was a bit noisy in the main dining hall due to the large crowd, it is understandable given that the place was packed. Overall, it was a joyous and delightful experience to be in such a happy place.

Yum Sing House is a hidden gem, although it can't be that hidden as it's always packed when we go!
This spot combines Asian fusion cuisine with 1960's Hong Kong-inspired decor, creating a unique and memorable atmosphere. With a versatile menu catering to dietary needs and an epic karaoke lounge upstairs, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Big fan of the Signature cocktails which perfectly complement top-quality dishes made with fresh, local ingredients. We highly recommend the roasted dry-aged duck crown with caramelized orange—OMG amazing!
The service is always warm and professional here too, it's just generally a great vibe!

They have just launched a new menu for Autumn and currently offer $2 Oyster Wednesdays and the $55pp Dine and Sing on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Came here for the dine & sing set menu that is available on Wed and Thursdays and it was such a great experience! For $55pp, definitely felt like what we got was worth the value. It was a 2.5h package and came with 3 entrees + 1 main, and a 1h karaoke session. Food was done well, great Asian fusion and loved the ambience of this place!

Came here for their newly released Autumn menu, and they didn’t disappoint! Not to mention the vibrant autumn colour scheme and presentation, I was specifically impressed by the caramelized fig entree. Just picture this: a perfect blend of sweet and savory, where the buttery sweetness of figs meets the smoky creaminess of crème fraiche, complemented by the saltiness of lap cheong. 😱🤌🏻 Omg, I'd return just for this dish alone! 🔥❤‍🔥

Our group booked the Dine and Sing package last Thursday and it was truly amazing. Almost all of our group had dietary requirements and it was not an issue at all. Everyone was happy 😊. Not to mention the food was absolutely delicious! The entrees that were my favourite were the King Salmon (my fave) and the Crab Croquettes (delish). And the Fried Barramundi main was a standout to me! I am a pescatarian so these dishes were incredible. I have been to YSH 4 times now and every single time the food and service has been incredible. Can’t wait for our next booking already 😊

Cocktails are so yummy (and the cocktail tree is 😍🌸) and the must try dishes we had were the prawn toast, beef tartare and spanned crab croquette. The ma lai gou dessert with boba is also👌🏼

The interior is beautiful - such a nice spot for a nice dinner for a date or with friends!

The karaoke and bar upstairs is also super fun and great vibe if you’re looking for a fun night out 🥳

I did the Dine & Sing Package and it was amazing ! The food was so good especially the duck. We got a cocktail tree which was such good value and so pretty for a girls night out. We then proceeded to go upstairs for karaoke! Thank-you for an amazing night Yum Sing House 😀 I will definitely be back !

We had our wedding a few weeks ago at Yum Sing House and it was the MOST beautiful night. Kiet, Nancy, Linh and the whole team were so attentive - they made sure everything ran smoothly, that we and our guests were well fed and that everyone was well looked after throughout the night.

So many of our guests were amazed with the food, especially the vegans who were specially catered for and told me it was some of the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. We had quite a few people with special dietary requirements and all were generously provided for. Everyone was keen to come back to try it again.

They created a space for a dance floor and did everything possible to ensure we had a magical night. The atmosphere was perfect. For those who are looking for an alternative, contemporary space with incredible service, this is the spot! I am so glad we decided to choose to have our wedding here and I'd highly recommend it to anyone considering this venue.

We kicked on with karaoke into the late night. It was a perfect way to finish our perfect day of celebration. Thank you YSH team for going above and beyond and helping to make our day so special!!!

The food overall was very good, with the salmon with tamarind jelly and duck with mandarin and ginger memorable. Would love to come back and try the rest of the menu. Scenes from In the Mood for Love was flicking on the wall adding to the dark chilled vibes.

Our latest visit to Yum Sing House, located at 22 Sutherland St, Melbourne VIC 3000, reaffirmed why it holds a special place in our hearts as one of our favourite Melbourne restaurants. This time, we were captivated by their new autumn menu, which was a celebration of flavors so perfectly woven together, it was like experiencing the season on a plate.

We opted for the “Feed Me” menu, priced at $76 per person, which included an array of dishes that left us amazed at how beautifully curated and balanced it was:

i went here for an anniversary. had nice seating in the back next to the kitchen. my partner and i really enjoyed the new dish beef tartar. the prawn toast and duck were also really good and popular item’s recommended by the staffs. the vibe of the restaurant is quite nice, love the green and red colours and the theme of the movie In the mood for love. really nice touch. staff were all lovely and accommodating for us which we really appreciate. i would highly recommend this restaurant for HK fusion. a lot better than other fusion restaurants. overall a great place! 👍

Good food.. we liked starters more than mains but mains were not too bad either.. mushroom and tofu dishes are excellent.. good variety of different dishes.. Cocktails are very good.. there is also karaoke upstairs. Atmosphere is good, not too loud so enjoyed catching up with friends.

We loved our visit here last weekend. Their dry-aged duck and lap cheong fried rice are a must-try. They were cooked to perfection, well-prepared, flavourful, the duck was tender with the skin crisped to perfection. It's really good. The atmosphere and karaoke upstairs are also such a vibe.

Went to Yum Sing for work christmas dinner. Had the banquet option as we had 12 of us. Service was amazing! And the food.... every option was tasty and of good size. No one left hungry!
The beverage options were also great. The cocktail tree was a great alternative to start the celebrations

Had the Chinese New Year Banquet. Such good value. Delicious food. Very attentive service. It’s casual but they really know how to look after you. Will come back to try their a la carte menu. Only managed a single photo of the very first dish, a very well executed Yee Sang, prosperity salad. After that we were all too focused on the food.

I recently went back to Yum Sing House for the second time and it didn’t disappoint. The food and cocktails were delicious and the wait staff were all so friendly and welcoming! I love that the menu changes every now and then and I can’t wait to go back in the near future!

I went with a group of friends, we were able to book a private karaoke room for our dinner and entertainment. The room even have a private toilet so no risk of getting lost after a few drinks! The facilities are new, clean and comfy. Everything we ordered including the dishes, desserts, cocktails and mocktails were delicious and creative, Cantonese dishes with a twist! Perfect place to have a great night with your friends and family.
