The Langham, Melbourne

Lovely hotel at a great spot, right beside the river and the view is wonderful! We got the CBD river and train station view. Room is very quiet and the opulence decor gives us a glimpse into 1930s American feel. Not to say the hotel is old, but it had its own charm. Everything is grand and the staffs are lovely. Connected to the mall beside on the promenade level.

I also want to commend the staffs for helping me change the dates of accommodation with a 3rd party booking site before we arrived! Thank you, The Langham!!

We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. From the room service to the breakfast, we can't fault anything. Our room was spacious and clean with beautiful views. With a few choices to dine in house, you won't be disappointed. The buffet in The Melba is amazing, with so many choices, you won't leave hungry. Definitely recommend for comfort and convenience as it's situated along Southbank with plenty of bars and restaurants literally around the corner

Beautiful hotel, comfortable beddings, and supportive staff. Would love to stay here again! Their breakfast buffet was big and had everything you could think of. Could be considered on the high end price, but we did choose to stay at this hotel for a reason.

We stayed at the Langham Melbourne on Thursday evening for the Paddington bear special offer. We can not explain how happy we were with the service and Paddington offer from the venue and staff. We had a great afternoon and also attended the buffet dinner (AMAZING VALUE). Our daughter unfortunately became ill with croup at 11pm that evening and had to go to hospital in the ambulance. The staff were so amazing and helpful. We could not express how caring and kind they were to our daughter and us. Thank you so much and we will be back soon! World Class venue.

WOW!! This is my first time staying at a Langham and I’m thoroughly impressed. The concierge Chris was super friendly and accommodating at check-in. Service has been wonderful and attentive the second I got out of my car. And the lobby is decorated beautifully, this is a grand place to stay. Highly recommend & will definitely be back! Great room with a view of all the fireworks for NYE, the hotel staff where amazing checked in promptly, valet was welcoming to the hotel, staff brought our bags up, the restaurant staff at the Mantra were very friendly too.
Stayed in an Executive River King room and couldn’t recommend more. 5/5 stars and looking forward to staying here again in the future!!

Always an enjoyable experience staying at the Langham.
We have stayed here a few times over the years and this luxury hotel rarely disappoints.
The views across the Yarra River are spectacular and it is an easy walk or tram ride to restaurants in the heart of Melbourne.
The breakfast service is very good as is the room service. We have had the dinner buffet a few times but it can be filling! :-)
The swimming pool, spa and sun deck provide space to relax and unwind while enjoying marvellous views of the city.
The concierge staff are always very friendly, professional and particularly helpful.
On one day our room was not serviced. After raising this issue with house keeping, we vacated the room again so that it could be cleaned and refreshed.
I love the look and feel of the Langham - along with the organisation's clever pink branding of course ;-)

We had a wonderful staycation at the Langham! Highlights included having a room upgrade, affording us a stunning view of the city skyline overlooking the Yarra, the amazing breakfast at Melba, Valet parking and just general excellent service from all staff including one of the easiest check outs experienced. We would definitely like to return!

Luxurious romantic stay on the Yarra River.
This hotel is one of the best I've been too, the service is unmatched we had the most lovely romantic stay here for our anniversary which resulted in a lovely proposal. The staff were so kind and attentive to every detail.
The rooms are very outdated furniture wise and could do with a refurbishment however all other amenities were immaculate.

Have stayed a few times. Stayed in a river view room. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Service is great and staff friendly. Will definitely stay again

Recently had a stay at The Langham Melbourne for Birthdays, myself my sister and my daughter. The lengths they go to, to make a guest welcome is beyond anywhere I have stayed. Despite being fully booked during my visit, the day spa and massage area exude luxury and offer a sanctuary for rejuvenation and pampering. I liked the amazing change rooms and the rustic steam shower.

The accommodation itself is a haven of comfort and tranquility. The king-size bed provides a restful night's sleep, ensuring guests wake up refreshed and ready to take on the day. Although my room may be described as fairly basic, it more than compensated with its breathtaking views over Melbourne, Flinders Street station, and the Langham's pool and outdoor area. Particularly glorious at night, I slept with curtains open to enjoy.

Always a great experience @The Langham Melbourne. Staff always helpful Maheesha and sue (souphaphone) were just two of many. Including the staff in the spa and sauna retreat who also went above and beyond for my wife and I.. Club lounge almost perfect although closing for breakfast now is mildly inconvenient. The table and 2 chairs that were by the window needs to be reinstated though. The buffet breakfast has everything one could need and more.. Satisfied returning cuatomers again..

The service from the hotel was incredible; I intentionally booked in a Twin Bedroom. However, the room category was booked out; the front office team called me a day before and offered me an upgraded Riverside view room, as well as splitting the king-size bed into two single beds as a service recovery.

Also, the Chuan Spa is marvelous. They have various facilities, the pool, Jacuzzi, Steam Room, Dry Sauna and Color Therapy Snail Showers, which I seldom see hotels having a full-range spa facility nowadays. Further, the therapist, Amy was very professional; she chose the accurate product for my facial and I can see instant results for my desert-like skin.

Lastly, the location makes it easy to access most tourist spots; you can visit more of the place on foot. And if your room is with the signature Yarra River view, your stay will be unforgettable.

It's quite a beautiful hotel right on the Yarra. The thing that sets this hotel apart from others in the area, was the breakfast. I personally think this was the tastiest breakfast I've ever had in my life. It made me think the quality of my grocery shopping is way below par. The fruits actually tasted like I remembered when I was a kid. Putstanding!

Perfect location to be close to the city but on the south side of the river so you get views of the city and can see the moon rise. Our room had river views which was lovely. Hotel seems on the formal side, well appointed rooms of a standard size. Bed was good.
