Kathmandu Banquet

I'm actually editing this review I posted a month ago.

A few days back I went to Kathmandu Banquet (little did I know that I was in for a pleasant surprise😄😄!!). I was looking at the menu pondering over what to order and it was just then that Mr. Sachin told me that they had recently introduced a new dish, Tandoori chicken. They serve half and full portions. I had the half portion.

I must say that it was absolutely lip-smacking and for just $15 it was a cracker of a deal, especially considering the fact that they're a stone's throw away from the CBD.

I thank Mr. Sachin, the owner and the chefs for this wonderful and memorable experience.

The full portion comes for $25 and the half portion for $15 (both have chips, salad and tomato sauce included 😀).

Had their Chicken choila today and it was absolutely amazing. The quality of the spices they used was superb and the quantity was good. I also liked the fact that their Chicken choila was spicy which was perfect for my taste buds as I love spicy food. The overall burst of flavours in your mouth will leave you wanting more.

P. S. It was also the owner's birthday today and we were treated to some delicious cake as well. I thank Kathmandu Banquet for their kind gesture and also for their overall hospitality (especially Mr. Sachin).

The best, always! Currys are great, set menus are great, fried rice is great. Good for groups or solo. Buff is the best. Highly recommend

Bob and his team at Kathmandu Banquet did the catering for our engagement party - everyone loved the food and the Nepalese hospitality! They comfortably catered for 100 guests leaving them extremely satisfied! The Momo's were a huge hit!

The venue for larger events is also magnificent!

Great food with very helpful server! It's a great place to try Nepalese food. Server was very friendly and helpful.
They have an all you can eat set with two curries and a few sides. Very tasty. I also tried an appetizer with crispy balls that you need to pour the seasoning in and eat in one go.

Such a beautiful place to be , though we were late to be there , Dai in the counter helped us to keep waiting and make our evening beautiful

Food was delicious, we had momos, khaja sets , dhido , thakali set and other foods as well , must say you will get flavours with every bite you have

This place is great, make sure you try the sets. The set with polenta is amazing!!!

We got one with chicken and the other with it’s goat and rice. The rice does the cool fresh rich stick up thing, very pretty 🤩

It’s a bit quiet sometimes but I don’t understand why, goons is incredible. This was our third visit in 3 months:)

Very consistent taste and texture on different occasions. The restaurant & venue manager Sachin Man Singh Basnet was very courteous at all times and answered all my queries timely. The dining experience was always great compounded with affordable prices. Thank you for your great service Kathmandu Banquet.

Fantastic front of house staff, really lovely during busy dinner rush.
No longer offering All You Can Eat in 2022, but menu is very affordable, with momo as cheap as $12.50 dine-in (February).
If you don't like spice, be sure to check each dish with the waitstaff, to make sure you don't get something too spicy - as it's not always listed on the menu.
Food was excellent, I'm not Nepalese so I don't have any comment on authenticity, but the flavours were fantastic and prepared with care. Beers on tap, soft drinks in the fridge, various lassis available if in stock.

We had really friendly service and a delicious, filling dinner. I had chicken chow mein - the chicken was juicy and plentiful and the dish was spicy, as requested. Would definitely highly recommend this place. And reasonably well priced to boot!

Great food and kind people. Didn’t know what to choose from the menu as all dishes seemed delicious. The curries I tried were lovely and not too spicy.

Best in town. Server was amazing, food was amazing and there is also venue to do your function upstairs.

So happy with our meals, and friendly service. We had momo to share, then a set each with different curries and one rice one the special polenta style, all delicious and plenty leftover for lunch tomorrow! So glad to have this place locally :)

I am a regular dine-in person of the Kathmandu Banquet, famously known for its large portion food items, awesome customer service service and ambience. Especially it's jhol Momo, I highly recommend this place.

Sadheko momo, choila & goat curry is amazing. Easy, relaxed vibe. Go to spot for spicy momos/dumplings. Can't recommend enough.

It was a really nyc adventure. Everything was super perfect. Best service Sachin and the Team.
