Pure South Dining

We held a small function for 20 people upstairs in the private dining space. It was a wonderful experience. The location is ideal, the large windows open over the Yarra, which created a fabulous atmosphere. The food was exceptional, in particular, the chips, as was the service. Highly recommend! Thank you Pure South!

Thank you very much for the excellent dinner and Valentine's Day experience. It was the second time I went to dinner and both times the same Garzón served us, very cordial and friendly, giving us good recommendations and the food was excellent, the chef was very well prepared and the food was on time. with good mixtures of flavors and cooking. I think I'll have to go again

Thank you for a lovely night to celebrate our 11th anniversary. The foods and the drinks were top notch and beautiful prepared. We have the 6 course degustation journey brought to us by the teams, and we could taste the beautiful and freshness of Tasmania. Was definitely worth to try🥰

We loved our experience at Pure South. Amazing Tassie produce, very nostalgic given I grew up in Tassie. My partner and I were celebrating our 5 year anniversary and they brought us out a complementary dessert with a note to celebrate. Cocktails amazing too. Highly recommend. Thank you!

We celebrated our wedding at Pure South Dining and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From start to finish, the staff were incredibly attentive, making sure every detail was perfect. They went above and beyond to ensure that our guests were comfortable and happy.
The food and drinks were exceptional.Each dish was beautifully presented, and the drinks flowed throughout the evening.
It was an amazing experience to share with our family and friends, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day. If you're looking for a venue that truly cares about your event, this is the one to choose !

Great food, great atmosphere and great service. After many years of going there, It hasn’t disappointed so far.

My brother and I had the complete dining experience at Pure South Dining last night. The staff were skilled, friendly and attentive. The food was faultless. We received great advice on the wine and ended up with a Chablis that perfectly matched the food. The ambience is terrific with plenty of space, a lovely view onto the river and tasteful lighting. I will be back soon.

Have had many steaks in my life, heck I can cook an amazing steak, but these guys delivered in a big way last night.
Cooked to perfecting with an incredible sauce and salad matched with a wine for a cracking price.
Service was fantastic along with the atmosphere.
I am here for work so I ate alone and didn't get to try other items on the menu but if I was to go of my experience, I would expect everything to be fantastic.
A really really classy venue that I would happily eat at again.

We went to Pure South Dining for our anniversary, from the moment we walked in we received amazing service. The chef was so generous to alter the degustation menu to suit our dietary requirements and every dish was absolutely beautiful, perfectly presented and every mouthful was delicious. The wait staff were all so lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Thank you we will definitely be back.

Went here for the first time at 5.20pm. Didn’t book but they had a table. We had pork belly and beef short rib and fries. Also they have Willie Smith Organic cider which really good and they make great cocktails 😊 All of which was amazing followed by an incredible desert as photos below. Great experience here and staff of particular note were Ava, Dipen & Nisu. Plus they accommodated my request for a quad espresso. Couldn’t fault this place 10/10, fantastic, well done guys 👍

Great location by the water, went there for lunch and breakfast. We had a blast ! The food was awesome and wine selection too, great for kids too.

We held my mother's 80th birthday at Pure South Dining. We had number of complex dietary and accessibility requirements. Pure South Dining worked with me leading up to the event to curate the perfect menu for our group. The food was beyond amazing and the staff were super professional and patient. The location was beautiful. I have no hesitation to recommended this venue for any group. My mother will always treasure the memory of that dinner.

Can't fault it at all. My date and I both agree that this was most likely the best meal we've had out in in the time we've been together, and we dine out at least weekly! Terrific location, atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious! I look forward to returning during my next night out in Southbank!

Absolutely delicious menu that evolves depending on what is in season from Tasmania. It’s wonderful to see the passion and excitement that the kitchen & front of house team bring to every plate (and glass of wine/whisky). Almost everything is made in house from Tasmanian produce, and they have deep relationships with farmers and producers in Tasmania. The atmosphere suits a fancy dinner date or special occasion.

The luncheon set menu is well balanced, delicious and extremely good value. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere inside the restaurant and the surrounding views are first class. This is mine and my wife's favourite restaurant in Melbourne and we celebrate all special occasions here. I highly reccommend it to everyone.

The bar and food is excellent, with fresh ingredients and flavorful seasonings. The menu offers a variety of options, from burgers and sandwiches to salads and seafood. The portions are generous, and everything is cooked to perfection.

Yet another fabulous night at Pure South. The chef is an artiste! Sublime flavours complemented by excellent shiraz. And staff who've been trained properly.

The best restaurant dining experience in past decade of dining out. Seriously. From the warm welcome downstairs to being upstairs. High class waiting and food was sublime. Every fdsh. Every mouthful was a joy. Never had an experience like this in Melbourne before. And look forwards to return asap as there was so much more to enjoy on the menu. If dining out was an Olympic sport then I wd be in Paris. But this was next level. I am ex hospitality. This crowd have service 10/10. And the four courses we had backed it up. Can’t wait to go back actually and will make it the night focus instead of the meal before the show. Do yourself a favour
