An absolute hidden gem! Stunning views, wonderful service and beautiful wine (and cheese!). This family owned and run business is a must for those visiting the area or looking for somewhere to host an event.

By far my favourite stop on our winery tour. Dee was hosting and she gave us such a warm and welcome feeling and was always checking in. Brendan was doing our tasting, he had such a relaxed vibe, never rushed us into the next tasting and was always ready for wine chat.
There was lovely acoustic music being played and games on the grass.
10/10 vibe and homely feeling 💕

We were blown away by this beautiful venue hidden on the forest edge. Turning in expecting a quaint cellar door we were greeted warmly by the staff and they quickly turned to our children to point out a huge kangaroo grazing in the below paddock. Even though they had a consistent flow of visitors we were given a tour of 'the burrow' which is an modern, barn style wedding venue hidden in the hill side with sprawling views of the wombat forest.
The kids enjoyed exploring the courtyard while us adults indulged if a wine tasting, even having the wine maker pop over to tell us some of his secrets. The customer service, wine, venue and incredible flowers made our day and we can't wait to visit again.

I have been fortunate to be able to attend this venue on multiple occasions and have always found the service to be of the highest standard especially when needing to manage expectations and the needs of customers and staff.
The wines have always been sensational and a conversation with the winemaker Brendon is enlightening and friendly with a huge understanding of the processes he has developed Over the past 20years. The addition of a Rose to the wine list has rounded off a fantastic range with subtle flavours and to compliment the fuller bodied reds and cebratory sparkling wines.
This is a wonderful family business that has been recognised as a finalist in the Community Service Awards Customer Service section well worth a visit and whhen you do make sure you sit down with Brendon and Dee for a chat.

This has got to be one of the best places to spend an afternoon in the Macedon Ranges. The venue it's self is incredible. All the timber buildings blend beautifully against the bush surrounds. It's family run and all the staff are invested in making everyone feel welcome and relaxed.

I always take my kids, 3 and 5, and they're always made to feel welcome too. There's a beautiful grass area set up with games, they also have the freedom to toddle around and explore without being expected to sit in their seats.

The live music is always fantastic, and then there's the wine! Highly recommend.

Stopped in for a wine with my partner and was immediately welcomed by the warm and friendly staff. Wine is very nice, particularly enjoyed the Shiraz. Absolutely stunning venue and surroundings. We have been back several times since, and always have a great experience at the Burrow. Highly recommend!

Visited this stunning winery as a group of 8 on a girls weekend trip. From the moment we arrived we received amazing customer service from Dee. The winery itself is set in a stunning location, and the wines were delicious. Looking forward to visiting again the next time we're in the area!

What an amazing experience. You can feel the warmth of a small family business and this one is particularly special. In the heart of the beautiful wombat forest, you can disappear into the soundscape and stunning views. Curl up by the gorgeous fire and enjoy one of their fabulous full bodied cab savs… my absolute favourite. What a treat
Sure of a find, on a Sunday afternoon with a glass of wine and a great local muso. I cannot recommend this place enough. A real treat.

We come to the wombat forest vineyard this afternoon after trying to find a winery that is open and we saw a big one called The big red winery that was open but no one there so a little down the road we saw the wombat forest vineyard and we were greeted by Dee who showed us around the wombat forest vineyard such a beautiful place and with so much potential it's going to be and already is spectacular. Dee than took us into the wine tasting room and I was happy with the wine taste and took 6 bottles home. We will definitely go again as soon as we demolish these bottles and that won't be too long. Thanks Dee for being so welcoming to us. Xxxx

Wombat Forrest Vineyard is undoubtedly one of the best places to unwind in the Macedon Ranges region, with a relaxed atmosphere and stunning views. Their wine is a bit of a well-kept secret, with fantastic sparkling varieties like their (red) Pinot noir and the equally unique (golden) Blanc de noir.
If your planning a tour of region it is well worth the stop and if you’re looking for an events space for a wedding or corporate function check out the #Burrow - also located on the property.
Wombat Forrest Vineyard isn’t yet one of the more famous offerings of the Macedon Ranges region however it should and probably will be.
