Beautiful scenery and a gorgeous 45 mins hike in either direction. Closed runners are definitely needed and the path is quite tight in some spots or rocks etc to navigate but path is very easy to follow down the the cove.
The water is refreshing but very strong so need to be careful to go swimming far out.
Would definitely go again!

The walk in was degraded in some parts and requires maintenance. Some steep parts to the track and large steps. The cove was stunning with a calm sandy area that would be covered in water at high tide leaving only rocks to sit on. The water was crystal clear with blue and green shades. There are no facilities or shade at fairy cove. The carpark at Darby River has a toilet and the car spaced are limited. The track could also do with some improved signage but there was Telstra reception along the way and at the cove

Magical! There’s 2 ways of getting to the beach from derby parking to tongue point ( 2.5 hr hike ) or from the other parking ( 40 min hike )
Beautiful rock pools, clean beach stunning view
No dogs allowed in this national park

one of the most beautiful beaches i have ever seen! i would recommend this hike to anyone who is capable of doing so! the water is so clean and the rock formations are something you just gotta see! definitely leave enough time to be able to have a swim here (if it’s safe to!) :)

#Take a trekking to a secret sandy beach nestled amongst the beautiful boulder-strewn coastline.

In Wilson Prom,

What's better than spending a whole day on a trekking trip that includes rivers, mountains, seas, all in one trip? The walk begins on a gentle slope on wooden slats for easy walking and eventually descends to the secret beach at Fairy Cove, an open beach with clear water that is perfect for swimming.
This beautiful stretch of beach is well known and tends to be quiet all year round. But during this time, the best time for hiking is summer.
#Fairycove is one of the most beautiful beaches in Victoria. and probably ranked as one of the best that should not be missed.

What an unbelievable place. Absolutely one that you should consider. I’d suggest packing enough things to be able to get there and spend a few hours. The hike there and back can be a little exhausting as there is several steep sections, the track starts off with a longish incline however overall it’s a pretty cruisey hike to fairy cove and you can go
At your own pace. Once you get there I recommend sticking around for a few hours to enjoy the beautiful surrounds before you make the trek back up and over to the Carpark approx 5-6km return trip. Keep your eyes open for snakes as they are well and truly out and about during the warmer months.

This is an amazing location for some excellent sunset photography. Approximately 40 minutes walk from the nearest carpark along a windy bush track, you crest a mountain ridge to see the scenery from above. The side is a short walk down hill along a series of steps.
I visited after a storm and the sand had been washed away from the last step so was a bit step down.
High tide will make it difficult to traverse the large boulders, and can be difficult to jump from rock to rock. Slightly dangerous if you're not paying attention.

The beach boasts breathtaking vistas, with golden sands meeting the azure sea.

The panoramic views create a serene escape, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Stunning beach at low tide. Walk in the bush was very easy (30 minutes there and back if you walk fast).

👌 great spot of the beaten track. However the track down there that runs of the Tounge Point track is very steep with lots of big steps. Walking out is hard going.

An absolute hidden gem. Crystal clear blue waters, golden sand, a sheltered and isolated beach, and plenty of interesting rock features as a surround. The trek to get there is super easy but fun and offers great views along the Prom coast. Can't recommend it enough - just go there!

Absolutely stunning! This has to be one of my favourite places in Victoria. I highly recommend visiting, but please check the tides first as if you go at the wrong time of day you won't be able to walk on the beach.
