Squeaky Beach Car Park

Squeaky Beach is an amazing beach & yes the sand does squeak beneath your feet. It has just been awarded the annual #1 beach in Australia's Top Ten Beaches. It is picturesque, the sand is a beautiful white, the wild ocean that boasts crashing waves leads onto Bass Straight & colourful granite boulders both ends. It really has it all with mountain scenery, coastal bush & wildlife all in one. Parking is available both normal & disabled & toilet facilities are situated in the car park also. It is a short walk from the car park to the beach on a flat sandy track & it is definitely an attraction that's not to be missed.

I thought squeaky beach was a shambles it's actually quite good you'll have to push down with your heel really hard make it squeak but otherwise it's really great great that actually does squeeky

The beach is very neat. It makes squeaky sound while we walk hence the name Squeaky beach. It was fun making sounds while we walk on sands. It's the best part.

One of the most picturesque beaches i have been too. The walk to the beach is easy and short. On a busy day the parking can be really difficult to find.

Most awesome beach I've seen in Victoria state. So clear water and perfect to get into waters, beware of jelly fishes

Night camp ,had lovely experience. We all had lots of fun and thanks to all the BBQ setup in the parks fully clean and maintained. we enjoyed cooking food and made tea many times 👍it was great

Looking to spend a holiday near a picturesque beach? Try Squeaky Beach at Wilson's Promontory National Park! You will love this stunning beach! We recently spent a couple of nights at the "Prom" in Tidal River and did the Squeaky Beach walk to discover this gorgeous white beach tucked away behind the many mountains of the Prom. The water is amazingly clear and has the most wonderful turquoise color. We were lucky and had perfect weather for a walk (not too hot but nice and sunny) and had a refreshing dip in the ocean at Squeaky Beach (the fine sand of this beach does squeak by the way)! Best swim this summer so far in the cleanest water and in a truly beautiful location! Simply unbeatable!

About 300 m to the awesome squeaky beach. Its normally empty. Have a toilet but no flush, just a scary dark hole.

Often busy, come early

Carpark fills up really quick. You have to get here early morning to find car park during peak season. Well worth visit. Great spot for photo or swim.

Awesome! Interesting stone formations. Fauna changed as you walked to Tidal River so it felt like I experienced 3 different types of forest walks.
