Dr Reena Jacob

I was very lucky when my GP referred me to Dr Reena Jacob to address the issues I was having as a 59-year-old woman.
As soon as I met Dr Reena, I knew I would be in good hands, she was kind and made me feel comfortable.
She was thorough and explained what was going on with me and the decision was made that I needed surgery, and I trusted her whole heartedly.
I cannot speak highly enough for the ladies at Dr Reena's office in Aberfeldie so very kind and helpful, the amazing team in theatre working with Dr Reena they were all so kind and caring and all the staff at Western Private Hospital were so caring as well.
Dr Reena came to see me in my room before she went home to check on me and tell me how well my surgery went, I honestly could not have been more relieved and happier.
It's been five weeks since I had my surgery and I feel amazing, I have no hesitation recommending Dr Reena Jacob, she is an exceptional Gynecologist and beautiful human being.

Reena and her team are just amazing. Reena is genuinely a very caring person. She held my hand as I slept before my surgery as I was really nervous.

Dr. Reena is hands down one of the best obstetricians anyone could ever have by their side throughout the pregnancy. From the first appointment itself, she built a strong connection with us and helped us have a positive experience. She made sure she gave 100% every time and was very open, approachable and friendly. We were new to Australia and to the system as well and we had complete trust in her which was delivered without a doubt. We were very sad to say bye to her after the delivery which tells that she was more than a doctor to us. Thankful, grateful and blessed to have had you by our side and you will always be family to us!

Back in december, I had a procedure/surgery done by Dr.Reena Jacob.

My first personal experience with her was a really positive one from the very first consultation with Dr.Reena, all the way to my folow up app.after the procedure.

Dr Reena was my obstetrician throughout my whole pregnancy, she was so supportive and made me feel so comfortable.
Knowing this was our last bubs, she made sure I felt involved throughout the whole delivery/surgery. Her team was amazing too. We did an assisted caesarean, and it was absolutely memorable. I am forever grateful to her.

After consulting with two other gynecologists and numerous doctors over 10 years, I was finally able to receive help from Dr Reena. She is very caring and takes time to discuss everything with you.

Dr Reena and her team have helped me through hard times with kindness, grace and compassion. After a hard diagnosis, Dr Reena respectfully explained my options, made sure I got a spot for the necessary surgery with her the next day, emailed me at 5.30 am to ensure I received all the details I needed, checked on me while I was waiting and literally held my hand while going to sleep. I would highly recommend Dr Reena and her team of nurses, anaesthetics, supporting doctors and staff who are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Dr Reena analysed my case so well and suggested the best set of steps to heal me completely. I was very nervous as it was my first surgery but her calm nature and guidance throughout the process helped me stay positive and relaxed during the complete procedure. What an amazing experience. I have been to a few gynecologists before and they've honestly all been pretty awful experiences. From start to finish my appointment here with Dr Reena Jacob was really great - the receptionists were so lovely, kind, and helpful. Dr Reena is amazing! I've never felt so comfortable at a clinic before - she was very kind and made me feel completely at ease the whole time, and also went above and beyond to explain things to me and help me fully understand everything that was going on. She took her time and was actually invested in my health, my preferences, and making sure I was comfortable. There was no judgement at all (which unfortunately is common with doctors I've seen in the past) and she guided me through everything. Really amazing experience, 100% highly recommend!!! I have white coat anxiety & it’s hard for me to go to any doctors, hospitals or get a
Blood test. The moment I walked into dr Reena’s room for my first visit about 3 weeks ago to having the surgery to my follow up visit with her today has been amazing. She is an angel sent & looked after me, operated successfully & shown me so much compassion she it truly an amazing doctor. I have been seeing Reena for a while now and from the first visit she knew exactly what was going on with me when other Gynecologist's had no idea. Her patience and calm nature helped me make a hard decision to go ahead with my hysterectomy which I now know has been the best decision ever. The whole process from start to finish was easy and I was so surprised at how clean my wounds were and with minimal pain. It’s only been 7 weeks and I often forget I have had surgery. I thank god that I was referred to Reena by my doctor because it was the best referral I’ve had. I must also say that her staff were very kind, friendly, helpful & knowledgeable every time I had questions. I highly recommend her to anyone needing a gynecologist. I have never met anyone as wonderful and caring as dr Rena Jacob. I have been in bed for 9 months with pain that no other doctor could find the cause of. Within 15 minutes dr Rena Jacob had found the cause and diagnosed me and within a month I have been cured (so to speak) I have so much gratitude for her and will continue to thank her for everything she has done for me. I can highly recommend Dr Reena Jacobs as a result of my first appointment with her she put me at ease, I found I was able to explain everything to her regarding my personal health, and she was so good with her professional manner and explaining to me what I needed to have done regarding my recent Procedure. I felt so much more at ease in the operating theatre just prior to the Procedure, when Dr Jacobs came in and she (held my hand) and spoke to me reassuring me before the Anaesthetic took affect. Also when I had my Post Op check up with her recently she explained to me what she had done, and what I need to do going forward and then I found I was able to ask questions and she answered my questions so good. Thank you to the team at Sasha Medical Centre who were very friendly polite and very helpful to me, without hesitation every time I called with a query regarding medication and reactions I was having etc. I am very impressed and so ‘thankful’ to Dr Jacobs for her doing my recent Procedure and also ‘thankful’ to my G.P. for referring me to Dr Jacobs.

I could not recommend Dr Reena enough. I went in for my first consultation this week and was quite nervous as I had some pretty bad experiences with doctors in the last month who totally dismissed my health issues and basically just prescribed me medication without doing any physical check-ups or examinations. As soon as I stepped into Dr Reena's office I felt completely safe, relaxed and more importantly heard and understood which I feel so many doctors fail to do. She gave me so much useful advice and information and was able to provide a really supportive and comfortable space for me to ask any questions and bring up any concerns that I had. I recently had a Laparoscopic Hysterectomy with Dr Reena and honestly, I am really pleased and thankful on the way that she handled my operation. Dr Reena is a very amazing and knowledgeable doctor and on my first visit, she provided me with sufficient information about my surgery, which gave me a well explained idea of what the surgery is going to be like. Before the surgery, I was emotionally and physically weak which made me really nervous. However, Dr Reena was there for me as she mentally helped me a lot, calming me down by saying that this will be alright and thus, completed my operation successfully. Even after the operation, she always checked on me to see how I was doing and was ready to do any favors I had, which made me feel really comfortable around Dr Reena and her team. Thank you Dr Reena once again and I do highly recommend her to everyone.

Dr Jacob’s exceeded my expectations in regards to concerns with my health. She is a wonderful gynaecologist. She is approachable, empathetic and knowledgeable about my concerns. She always told me the options for treatment, discussed options and respected my opinion. I was very nervous and anxious before the procedure but she reassured me to email her with any concerns. I was so grateful that she replied so promptly. I will remember her most for keeping me calm, patting my hand before being injected with anaesthetic and describing my ovaries as beautiful. She made me laugh at her bed side manner that I would like to recommend other women to see her rather than fester over real concerns woman deal with during menopause. The most humble and human specialist which is a lovely quality to have in her profession.

After a bad experience with a previous gynaecologist, I was so pleased to find Dr Reena Jacobs!

She managed my small surgery making me feel comfortable and respected throughout, the team were also incredibly helpful, they supplied me with the information I needed to ensure my experience was pleasant.

I have been seeing Reena for many years and I highly recommend her services. Reena has treated me for medical conditions, performed surgeries on me and has helped me from the start of my pregnancy right through to delivery. I would not trust anyone else to do all that Reena has done. The experience I have with Reena always exceeds my expectations. Reena is helping me with my second pregnancy and will be there for my delivery once again, hubby and I are so happy. Reena is very knowledgeable and experienced and I always feel confident with any decisions being made. With everything i have been through Reena has truly been amazing and i could never trust or feel safe with anyone else.
