I originally wanted to purchase a Black Forest pizza cake today. I had trouble ordering the cake online to collect in store, so I called the store and spoke to a young man. He was super polite and friendly. When I went in store to pick up the cake, I kindly asked to swap it with a Belgian double chocolate mud. Although he had already prepared the Pizza Cake, he swapped it with the other one.
The Belgian double chocolate mud was delicious and would highly recommend it!

Saad was extremely flexible for me today. I was running 5mins late and despite needing to be in a hurry he kindly waited for me. I couldn’t thank him more. The caramel mudcake was perfect and beautifully hand written, everyone enjoyed it!!! THANKS SO MUCH :)

Hidden away on St Georges Rd so it's convenient for a quick cake fix. I picked up a prepacked passionfruit cheesecake quarter, very tasty when chilled 🍰

Ordered birthday cake very recently. Angry bird themed, simple buttercream vanilla sponge cake. To my utter surprise, this is the best cake I had in a long time! The cake was very soft with perfect combination of strawberry jam, not too sweet. For the 1st time we could finish the full cake! Really thankful to the baker.

Great job for a birthday cake. We gave them a few photos as reference. The printing is a bit faded for some reason but overall it was really good.

The taste was also great ;)

The Jamaican Chocolate Cheesecake that I have ordered is gorgeous looking and tastes absolutely delicious! Well done to the staffs! Highly recommended for cheese lover out there!

I visited the shop earlier this week and wanted to commend Jasmine who gave me outstanding customer service. She was polite, friendly and helped me to select the black forrest cake for my daughters birthday which was absolutely beautiful!

I was ordering some cakes for a birthday and was confused as I wanted to put a msg with the cakes, I rang and lovely and patient girl named Jasmine stayed on the phone with me until my order was complete! I was so happy with how much reassurance she gave me, she also wrote a msg for me which made my entire day. Thank you so much Jasmine, your customer service skills will never be forgotten! We all know how stressful Birthday parties can be, so it would be nice if a part of it could be stress free, such as the Birthday cake. Well, this particular Cheesecake Shop does just that!
I usually speak to the lovely owner, Maria, she is very helpful, easy to talk to and I know I can leave it in her hands, I've never been disappointed. The shop is very clean, their cakes are very fresh, with very fresh ingredients. They are also open on Sunday which makes it very convenient, if you are having your party on Sunday.
I've been coming here for the past three years and I don't see myself going anywhere else. Thank you, MARIA and the team, for your great service.☺

Super friendly, helpful & thorough staff. Really seemed like they wanted to make you something you'd love. I believe I was speaking with Maria? She is a gem. Great quality for the price as well. The marble mud cake was incredible 👌👌👌

I called and spoke to Maria the day before. Very last minute! She was super helpful. She advised on options and I ordered and paid over the phone. Picked up the next day. The cake was amazing! So fresh and tasty. My guests all commented and asked where it was from. Maria you have a lot of new customers- guaranteed!

Staff were lovely and efficient, everything was so clean and well stocked. And the Pavlova ordered for pick up was delicious and made to perfection! Great value for price and plenty of cake to go round.

*Newest Review* 23 May 2018 Love this shop and the lovely owner. We ordered "The Treasure Cake" "White Rose" and the "The Mars Bar" Cake for my daughter's Wedding. Not only did they look and taste amazing but they were a hit with everyone. My daughter the beautiful Bride found me, grabbed me and said " Mum! That white cake is absolutely amazing. So many comments on all of the cakes but the"White Rose" was a clear winner with everyone. In all future events i will be using The Cheesecake Shop Thornbury. I can't thank them enough. This is the 2nd time I've popped into this shop. Lovely, friendly Customer Service. Great range of Cakes and better still, great tasting. I brought the Treasure Cake that has the Bavarian Filled profiteroles on top, "Delish". Store has newer Management, for those worried about an older bad review on here. New Management, very helpful, friendly and not pushy at all.

I requested a custom made version cake and was very happy with the result, It was delicious, beautifully presented. Price worthy and staff too were so professional (special thank you "Kanza").
