We love this great pub, really friendly staff. The beer was cold, the chips ( fries) were crisp there's is a great menu, and there was plenty of street parking

Went to this hotel with friends for a lunchtime meal and the quality and large portion of food was absolutely fantastic as was the friendly staff, i would recommend this place to anyone.

This brilliant tavern is a dining gem in Winchelsea. The food looks as good as it tastes, accompanied by the friendly hospitality of the staff and publican. Hubby happily devoured the 500gm ribeye which he described as, "melt in the mouth". I munched on the crumbed lamb cutlets; not one or two, but THREE perfectly crumbed, crispy cutlets! The lamb was succulent and flavour-full. The sides of potato mash, vegetable medley and choice of garlic butter complemented this delicious dish perfectly. We will definitely be back. Dropped in on a Sunday morning as we needed to charge our EV for our trip home. They have a charger around the back that was available to anyone. They charge $10 per hour which is fine if you need a top up. It charged at 6kW which is not fast but sufficient to get us out of trouble. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Although we could not stay for lunch, the pub filled up very quickly as lunch time approached so it must be popular with the locals. Good on them for catering for EV's. More venues should do this.

The welcome was very friendly and it was a great place to stop and take a break while travelling.
Everyone in our group of seven agreed that the food was excellent. The servings are a generous size and everything was fresh and delicious.

One of the last great country pubs. Amazing pizza and such friendly, professional service every time! Best of all, the family friendly atmosphere allowed us to teach our young daughter billiards after dinner without the hassle of any rowdy drunks nearby or feeling we were in anyone's way, she had a ball!! 🎱

Great meal and friendly service here! They're also pet friendly with some outdoor seating where you can have your dogs by your side. The owner is very friendly and accommodating as well as having a few good stories to tell.

The atmosphere, service and food was perfect. I will definitely be going back to the hotel when I next passing through the town.

Had a lovely lunch today and was able to sit outside with our dogs. Guinness on tap. Great friendly service from Pat and Joseph. Will definately call by again.
