Great local pub. Limited opening hours. Good menu. Sells magnificent local wines. Free camping out the back of the pub. I love this pub.

This pub is exactly what you would expect. Friendly staff, a great parmy, cold beer and a place to park the van for the night. No frills but food and people were perfect.

Very different pub, plenty of different setting areas, staff were fantastic, was a bit of wait as was busy so understandable.
Definatley return !

Had an absolutely lovely dinner tonight! Thankyou to Yasheela and Ram for our beautiful meals and the lovely wait staff. Was so welcoming and comfortable and the kids absolutely loved the colouring in and having their pictures displayed and cannot wait to visit again. It has become Harleys new favourite place to eat 😋
Jake Lynch was a nice touch to the evening, it wasn't too loud inside and when we took the kids out to the car afterwards, we even stood at the car for a listen before we left. Highly recommend everyone to visit and if you love a nice steak 😗👌 my medium steak was perfect, the fat around the outside was not too thick, not too thin, easy to cut and the steak melts in your mouth 🤤
My son loveeeddd his kids fish and chips and of the 6 plates that came out only about half a plates worth (kids plate from 2 yo) went back in. We will see you all again soon 🤗

From the moment we stepped into the Imperial Hotel on the Gold Coast, it was clear we were in for an exceptional experience. The hotel itself radiates a blend of luxury and comfort, setting the stage for what was undoubtedly a remarkable stay from 27th December to 5th January.

The heart and soul of this hotel are undeniably its staff. Richard, the General Manager, whom we had the pleasure of meeting last year, outdid himself in hospitality. His welcoming nature and efforts to make us feel special were truly commendable. His presence added a personal touch to our stay, making the Imperial Hotel feel like a home away from home.

Celebrating my husband’s birthday during our stay, we were delighted by the thoughtfulness of Michael, the Manager for Food and Beverage. His arrangements for us to have prime seating to view the hotel's spectacular fireworks display were a testament to his professionalism and warm, friendly demeanor. It made the birthday celebration all the more memorable.

Gina, a familiar face in the restaurant, continues to be a highlight of our visits. Her delightful and attentive service never wanes. Each interaction with her is a reminder of why we keep coming back. Her warmth and hospitality are a true asset to the Imperial Hotel.

A special mention must go to Alex, another manager who went above and beyond. After our departure, I faced an issue with two delayed packages. Alex's initiative to personally ensure their delivery to my home address was beyond what one would expect. This act of kindness and exceptional service speaks volumes of the culture at the Imperial Hotel.

The entire staff, without exception, were friendly and professional. Their collective efforts made our stay not just comfortable, but genuinely enjoyable. It's rare to find such consistent and high levels of customer service, which makes the Imperial Hotel stand out.

As we plan our visit this December, it is with eager anticipation. We look forward to the familiar, welcoming faces and the exceptional service that awaits us at the Imperial Hotel. It's not just a stay; it's an experience that keeps drawing us back. Thank you, Imperial Hotel, for making each visit unforgettable.

Stayed out the back in our caravan for 1 night stop over. Meal at the hotel of porterhouse steak. Great meal and brewed beer. Highly recommend

A really friendly local pub with great food and beer... a hidden gem...
Old school pool table, wood heater, lots of seating options in bar, bistro, outside... rustic style reno has been really well done.. check out the in house brewed beers as well.
We had perfectly cooked steak and calamari dishes... salads were fresh, chips crunchy, and sauces/mayo all greatly complimented the dish..
We'll be back!!

A classic Australian pub. Great prices, super friendly and honest staff, quick service and all alcohol is local which is a huge plus for us. Food was amazing. One of the best parmas I’ve ever had and the tomato cheese and herb bread was divine. Will definitely be back again

We camped here for free at the back of the hotel...simple grassy area. Had a delicious meal of herbed lamb cutlets which are 'to die for' according to my partner. And the beers were excellent, particularly the new Avenel ale and the red. I enjoyed the sweet potato gnocchi very much with a lovely Strathbogie shiraz. All out in the beer garden so our dog could enjoy the experience too. Service great.

Fantastic country pub. Food was excellent, the chicken parmigiana is very tender. This is a great place to stop for lunch on a long drive, not too far from the highway. Very kid friendly! High chairs available and baby change facilities in the women’s bathroom. The staff are extremely friendly and the service was excellent.

Free camped at the back of the pub. Must be self contained. Great country pub with plenty of locals and atmosphere. Highly recommend the meals, the steak was awesome.

Nice, cosy little country pub. It's a long time since I've had a steak as good as this. A prime 300g cut of porterhouse that was perfectly cooked, served with an excellent peppercorn sauce. With their own on-site brewery, I can see this place getting very popular.

Delicious lunch of Bangers and chips on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon.

We met Melbourne friends here for lunch. The service was great, the meals were yummy and served promptly with a smile. Very helpful staff. The experience was very nice. Highly recommended.

A lovely place to get out of the rain and enjoy lunch with my family. Quite a variety of foods to pick from, not too noisy, well probably only until we arrived. 😊

An amazing little pub, great meal, the young girl behind the counter was on her own and did an exceptional job. Meals were huge and we enjoyed a game of pool.
