Guildford Family Hotel

The food was excellent. The service was impeccable. I made a booking in person yesterday and dined there tonight.

Tom remembered me and my name as we walked in. The girls who took our order and served us were friendly. Food was really yummy. We dined as a family with 2 kids. Highly recommended for pub food.

i love this place so much. it’s me and my family’s absolute favourite place to eat. the staff are so friendly and understanding, the food is absolutely incredible, and it always feels homey.
i’m autistic, so it’s quite difficult for me to find a food i like due to sensory issues. this makes getting the right nutrients very hard. but this place is my go-to for a good meal! not only does it taste amazing, the texture of the food is great and the drinks are very yum. it’s really helped me get the nutrients- especially protein- that i lacked back into my diet. it’s pretty rare for me to find a place like this that i actually like, but i love this place. 5/5 stars, definitely recommend for everyone, especially those who like a good pub feed 😎

Fantastic place to sit, relax, have a great meal and a few drinks in the beer garden. My Labrador dog was also made very welcome. Chloe was our table attendant and she was absolutely fabulous.

Generous and delicious portions, fantastic outside beer garden and friendly helpful staff.

This place was a real treat and a giveaway it is popular was the group waiting outside for it to open a 12pm - with everyone there waiting for food (as opposed to the bar!) Wine list is fantastic and has Shedshaker beers on tap.

Really nice and tidy pub. If in Guildford, I would highly recommend dropping in.

Fantastic experience with exceptional food and service. My steak was absolutely mouth watering.

Greeted by friendly staff from the moment we walked in. Dining room has a warm and cozy feel with wall full of musical instrument arts that you won’t see anywhere else.

Short drive from either Daylesford or Castlemaine.

Highly recommended.

A well run country pub with great food. A large beer garden suitable for children to play in as well as for adults to sit, chat, and enjoy a cold beer. We have been here many times and it is always good.

Pleasantly surprised by this family hotel. Already impressed by the dinner menu which includes traditional pub fare as well as modern twists on certain items. Even more impressed by the Sunday roast lunch in the delightful beer garden one fine Sunday afternoon. Simply delicious in huge portion size with all the trimmings. Staff was friendly and attentive too. Kudos to Megan and Tom for revamping and running this gem in this country town.

Best meal I have had in years in the Maine. So yummy and good price and the staff very accommodating. Will be back and been telling everyone.

What an amazing gem!!!! We just came across this pub while travelling around and couldn’t have been happier with the food and service. Will be coming back and definitely worth the trip.

My wife had the penne pasta dish and loved best she has had in years and l had the lamb roast the best roast l have had since when my grandmother made her roast,s back in the 1960,s worth the drive to guildford just for the meal

We love heading to the Guildford Pub, we've been to a few gigs now that restrictions have lifted, and the outdoor garden and music is spot on. It's a great place to spend the evening with friends and family.

Great food, and we liked that they do raffles with the local Grumpy Garage to raise money for supporting men's health, and other really worthwhile charities.

A charming jewel that sits in the crown of Guilford. Admittedly the crown is more a tiara or perhaps even an ornate hair comb, regardless this pub produces the goods and their staff are simply lovely and very accommodating. Worth the stop if you're trekking through the central goldfields

Tom and Megan are fantastic hosts, great meals always friendly and their staff are great (even when we have whingey kids 😀) Meals are 10/10. So grateful the pub has returned to its glory. Hats off to you.

Long live the Country Pub. First hint of Spring we packed up the dogs and seated ourselves in the Guildford Pub's Nth facing beer garden. Stunning. Well behaved dogs only of course. Megan and the team have done an amazing job over the last 2 years. Food is fresh and fabulous, service is excellent, cold clean beer and car parking everywhere. What more could you want. Enjoyed the grazing plate entree, little taste of everything and the pork belly. Just found my new watering hole.

Spent the weekend in Guildford! This place had the best chicken parma I have ever had. Enjoyed everything about it.
