Rarely do I ever find a restaurant that is hard to fault but this place was everything I hoped it would be. Fast service, beautiful interior decor, food worthy of the price charged. You also get a very decent size dish. The only thing I might pick up on is the dirty menus. The servers might need to be mindful of which ones they put on the tables. I honestly can't wait to come back here and try the seafood platter because it looked amazing.

We came for dinner on a Sunday night. What a wonderful experience. Had salmon tartare and oysters for starters snd both had linguine marinara for main. Food was so good, service warm and friendly. Could not recommend highly enough. Thank you!

Kids steaks and chips were the best kids steaks ever. Seafood linguini incredible.

The Vegetarian breakfast is amazing. Great coffee, fresh food - new fav place on the coast. Added bonus for Meredith Dairy ;)

I had a big breakfast here the other day and it was nice, coffee mugs were larger than average, poached eggs cooked perfectly and plenty of bacon. Only 1 slice of sourdough but it was a large piece.

Excellent food perfectly cooked. The steak Fritz for two was perfect. The seafood platter and excellent choice. The kids menu are a bit small but the flavors compensate for size. Service is excellent the staff are friendly and accommodating! Highly recommended!

Consistency excellent coffee, food and service. Great value I’ll add too.
My partner and my only gripe is the cheapest of cheap cutlery makes eating our lovely breaky less enjoyable, uncomfortable in your hands & awkward for cutting & rocking the plates.

Good feed, reasonable prices and clean! Staff were fantastic and friendly, checked our certificate with no fuss, got a table straight away. Had the mussels and burger, both servings left us full, plenty of tap beer variety and other drinks…nice to sit in front of the ocean and enjoy a meal.

Definitely a favourite place in Torquay, this fine establishment sets a high standard. Situated on the Esplanade makes parking easy and is obviously a prime location for the coastal destination.
Service staff were professional and well presented. The barista stood out with consummate ease as he happily went about his trade and set a comfortable tone.
The coffees that were delivered were strong and flavoursome with a slightly nutty finish. Only miss here was that the milk was not silky and produced a very bubbled froth.
We both ordered the smashed avo which was brought out in quick time. The meal was balanced, delicious and satisfying. The house mate Beetroot relish was outstanding! Did note that the poached eggs were slightly over cooked. And, I’d recommend a thicker slice of sourdough so it retains structure.

Super impressed with every aspect of Bomboras. The service was superb, extremely accommodating with letting me have a half serve eggs Benny.
The meals were bought out quickly, and were absolutely delicious!

We ate at the Bomboras restaurant twice while we were at Torquay. The food was fantastic, the oysters were great & the marinara & ribs I had were both fantastic meals. My wife enjoyed her pizza & pasta too. There is online booking where you can request indoor, outdoor undercover or just outdoor seating. The staff were compliant with wearing masks & checking covid vaccination certificates. Nice selection of cocktails.
During the peak summer they also set up a pop up bar which was above the salty dog cafe. It was a great atmosphere again with a great cocktail menu. They also had a pop up beach kiosk with drinks & snacks.

We dined at Bomboras for our staff xmas party and it was fabulous. The team did such a wonderful job hosting us and making sure everyone was looked after. The location is lovely and vibe was on point. Everyone had lovely things to say about the staff/service and the quality of the food and cocktails! We will definitely return! Thanks Legends

Impeccable coffee, superb breakie, amazing location.

Went here for lunch on a busy Friday in January holidays with our toddler. Service was great (shout out to Carlos!), food was so good and kids menu was varied and my fussy toddler ate the lot. 100% recommend

Best "big breakfast" I've had in years. Bacon was cooked perfectly, kransky was excellent, and the rest of the meal was top notch too.

Service took a little while but is to be expected given how busy they were and the food was worth the wait. Otherwise, the service was flawless.

Visiting from SLC, Utah in the states and have been in Australia for a week, I think we found the best breaky and coffee!! The views, atmosphere and service are great.
