Beautful picturesque park overlooking the misty river. Serenity personified. There are clean toilets and picnic tables. Also a nice walking track beside the river and underneath the bridge. Highly recommended.

One of the best parks I've been too. A must see for a visit to Deloraine. A train you can go in, a good playground, a swing bridge, ducklings, native gardens and public toilets. The waterfall was running when I saw it. A good spot for a picnic or to let the kids burn off some energy.

Great park, playground fenced with safety gate, cool old train to inspect and play upon, undercover barbecues, ample bench seats, wheelchair friendly toilet amenities, pretty park alongside the river, lots of ducks leisurely waddling about and swimming in the river. Relaxing, friendly, peaceful and tranquil place. Highly recommend as either a local or tourist.

We really love it here! The suspension bridge is so cool and doing a walk through the park and walking further along the water was great. It is an easy stroll and perfect place for a picnic also. We parked our car and caravan on the side of the road near the pub to walk here.

Lush green park & walking tracks. Many contemporary sculptures adorn the grounds. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Beautiful historic well maintained town. The Cruzin 50's Cafe is a must see as well. All things Betty Boo & cars & memorabilia of that era.

Stopped at Delorine for a rest from the drive and the kids had a great time exploring the old steam train and the park itself. Well maintained and a good spot for a rest or to have lunch as you go through the town.

Deloraine itself is a great little town with lots to see. Train park is great for children and has a play area near the river with spots to sit and eat. Has public toilets here also. And Woolworths is a 3 minute drive if needing anything. Lots of coffee shops/bakery, hotel and locally made crafts. Quirky items can be found also. Excellent stop over between Devonport and heading south in Tasmania. Highly recommended

Great meeting place in a lovely town.
Very good amenities and right next to the Meander River, a venue for the world fly fishing championship in Tasmania, December 2019. Today in March 2022 the river levels have dropped, were following this on the Hydro Tasmania website.

Great place to unwind, chill out, get mobbed by the ducks etc.. can be quite busy during meal times as it has great BBQ facilities and eating areas.

You don’t need to be a train maniac to enjoy this river-side green park. A stroll along the bank is very rewarding, and the place is quite accessible given its size and location, no reason to skip it if you are on route to Mt Cradle or back.

There's this big train at the park where kids can play around with, families can do picnic by the river and there are some tables around. The colours of autumn are really pretty around this area!

This is a lovely park. It had a great play area for kids, a little group of marauding ducks hanging around looking for food and the most lovely waterway running through it. Kids played, throwing sticks into the fast-moving water and taking great delight in racing along the edge following the progress. NB Need to keep a close eye on anyone near the water - no fences.

There are clean toilets too - bonus for travellers. We bought some takeaway soup and sat in our car (great parking right at the front of the park) eating our lunch & watching the water. There is a footbridge over the river too, some great photo opportunities.
