Mountain View Country Inn

Great place to stay - old but well kept and large rooms. Comfy bed, excellent hot shower, very clean. Owner and staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Very reasonably priced. On site restaurant is just lovely; couldn’t fault the ambience, the service or the food. Will definitely return to this place.

Good value and better because the restaurant was right there! It was raining. During our stay so it was especially convenient to not have to go out to find dinner.

Dinner was really nice and plentiful. Service very friendly. We were last there probably 7 years ago and decor is still exquisite

The ladies are lovely & friendly.
The rooms clean.
Shower hot.
Food great.
And it was quiet .
Which is just what l needed.
I got to paint my art and just admire the views.
They changed my room to one with a mountain view, which was so nice of them.
I will definitely love to come back and stay again.

Reasonably priced basic motel. Rooms clean, bed comfortable. Stayed two nights and the room was serviced on the second morning, which is not always the case with some other poorly managed motels I have stayed in.

Was awesome!!! Staff were warm and welcoming, we came early and instead of turning us away because our room was not ready, they upgraded us to a room that was serviced already so we could check in immediately! Appreciate their care and hospitality so much. Toiletries and towels available, there is even a toaster in the room haha.

A little dated but fantastic hosts and extremely clean room. The restaurant was great and prices were good. The management and staff went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and airy with adequate equipment. They are on the small size though. Restaurant is lovely and the home baked items are definitely home baked. Pricing is reasonable. Parking outside every unit.

It’s a nice litte motel in Deloraine, with reasonably priced rooms. If you don’t want to spend a fortune on the accommodation at Cradle Mountain, I would recommend staing here on your way from or back to Launceston. The rooms are not the most modern, but they are clean and spacious. A coin operated washer and dryer is available, so you can do your laundry here.
If you’re staining here, make sure to visit Settlers Restaurant, they have great food!

Even tho we had a very small cheap budjet room it was adequate for a quick overnight stay with all lovely amenities. Restaurant was still open 730pm and we had a huge roast of the day meal and dessert. Owners extremely helpful. Room spotlessly clean with tea and coffee etc and toaster. Well recommend.

Despite a late arrival, the office being closed, a room was provided which was very welcome, very warm, very quiet, and absolutely fabulous! I left before the office opened, but want to thank you again for the assistance.
My only concern is that an 8pm closing is a bit early given that the Spirit docks around 7.30pm on a day sailing.
You might consider advertising that you are available for a night after the Spirit docks. If I can book a room for late arrival, I'll be a fairly regular customer.

This is a wonderful motel. Thoughtfully and beautifully cared for and maintained with free wifi, DVD rental, complimentary car wash products for guests to use, great on site restaurant, lovely hosts and of course amazing views to the beautiful mountains with stunning sunsets you can watch from the comfort of your very comfortable and well appointed rooms. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up 👍👍 Will definitely stay at this motel again when I’m next in beautiful Deloraine.

Amazing place, staff were very friendly, rooms tidy and great facilities plus an amazing view from the room. Had breakfast the next morning and was very good. Thanks again, will defintely be back next time we are down this way.

Second stay there and ate at the restaurant, really lovely meal, good choice of Tassie wine. Very enjoyable.
