Moon Lily Kitchen and Cakes

Warm, cozy atmosphere with friendly service. Took quite a while for our hot food to be ready but they were delicious. We had the big breakfast (you could ask for it to be split into 2 plates as there’s quite a lot to go around), hot cakes (soft, fragrant and fluffy) and mushroom toast with hot chocolate. Nothing disappoints. If we had stayed longer, we’d have returned again.

Moon Lily Kitchen and Cakes is a must for breakfast or lunch the food is sensational. (Opposite side of the street to newsagent in Beaconsfield)
They also cater for Vegetarian.....
I chose the lambs shoulder with home made salad. "Sensational"! The flavours were amazing and so tender. For desert a pot of english breakfast loose leaf tea with a homemade blueberry muffin.
Such a well run restaurant/ cafe , the staff are all so friendly...more like a home cooked meal with family!

Perfect for a sit down coffee and slice

We stumbled across this cafe on our Tamar valley wine trail and what a brilliant place. Cafes in small towns do tend to offer great food and this cafe takes it to the next level.

We tried scrambled eggs in sourdough which a simple dish, but came with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, oozing with flavour, butter and perfectly put together in a toast. Savory pancake was another brilliant dish, very creative dish, great combination in flavours and tasted delicious. Very creative chef that's plating some very nice dishes for a cafe.

Just had a light lunch of frittata and almond frangipani croissant. Bloody delicious. Very friendly staff and chef who has the most amazing collection of cookbooks.
You need to try this place if your in beaconsfield.

We came down to Beaconsfield for the mines tour but stopping here for lunch was the real highlight of our day. Our meals were absolutely sensational. My husband said its one of the best meals he's ever had in his life!. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favour and stop in there, you won't regret it!

A great little cafe well patronised by the locals and I can understand why. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised when we chose to have lunch here on a recent visit to Beaconsfield. Our meals were delicious, service was excellent and the price was very reasonable. You can tell the staff love this place and so too do the locals going by interactions of the stream of people coming and going.

What a fabulous atmosphere and I met the owner Lucinda and her two boys. I love a family business and they make all the food. Has a laugh, got a recommendation on where to go and a double chocolate milkshake♥

Found Moon Lily and after a look at the menu decided to have second breakfast ... delicious pancakes, great coffee, amazing service with a smile and lovely atmosphere. Thank you for making our morning. Definitely a 'must go' to place, have recommended this to a friend who's visiting in a few weeks time!

Recently had dinner here with my wife on Monday. Amazing atmosphere and food was so good. Highly recommend anyone looking for a place to eat dinner Monday to Wednesday.

We booked for 9.30am . We received the perfect seats ..comfortable lounge chairs at window .very busy cafe .takeouts and locals .they must know how amazing .friendly and delicious food that's served always with a smile . Everyone should visit this cafe .put it on your bucket list .

Had a wonderful meal here for lunch, a small family run cafe. Wonderful environment and had a chat to the owner and chef. The chef ,who is one of the sons, creates the menu and has done a wonderful job crafting it with different flavours and inspirations from different cuisines. Clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does which shines through in the food. Highly recommend!

What a gem, dropped in for a coffee & its is outstanding and had a freshly made berry brioche & vanilla cream so good, well done crew of lily moon.

Without a doubt one of the best places I’ve had the opportunity to frequent in my travels. A beautiful spot to work with a coffee, or dine on legitimately gourmet meals. The service is excellent, the vibe is local boutique, and the food is hands down some of the best I have come across. Plus as a coeliac that never gets to eat the good stuff - their gluten free muffins are perfection (not perfection for GF, but perfection for a muffin!). 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic casual lunch dining with super delicious food.

We expected an average lunch menu selection. Instead we were greeted meal options that a high end restaurant would be happy to have on their menu.

The flavours were amazing and the effort put into the menu selections and flavours was above and beyond.

Hight recommended.

FABULOUS! Had the halloumi roll and it was life-changing! So delicious I thought I was having a religious experience! Best Turkish roll EVER! Also the staff here are friendly to boot & lovely to chat with. Also love the decor & the tidbits for sale. This cafe is one of the best things about the town of Beaconsfield!

The coffee was great, but more importantly, the Orange Blossom baked cheesecake with cream and freeze dried raspberries was absolutely unbelievable. I cannot describe in words how stunningly delicious it was. Made on the premises, the texture was mind-blowing and every single mouthful felt like my mouth was dancing. The best cake I have ever eaten in my entire life.
