Beef and Barramundi Restaurant

Amazing dinner with the parents 11/10! Perfectly cooked ribs (fall off the bone and perfectly seasoned and sauced). Incredible beef bourguignon (the meat melts in your mouth) and the barramundi was incredible and flaky! Highly recommend! Plus the service is impeccable and the owners are just purely delightful! Clean shop, happy atmosphere and even when full they give such great individual service.

Food was delicious and service was fantastic. Was there on a Wednesday night and it quiet. Was told that the owner does a singing performance later in the week and the place is usually packed! Had the BBQ pork ribs and the Malaysian seafood curry. Had a great dining experience and will be back.

Ok so...imagine an Italian galleria, built by a (apparently) Greek in a small coastal suburb in Australia. Inside is a steakhouse, run by a nice man from Karachi, Pakistan.

The food is good, the service is friendly and fine. Then...suddenly...the nice man gets on the small stage you noticed in the corner with a saxophone? What? How bad is this gonna be?

Well...it was bloody fantastic. Our host entertained us for a solid couple of hours, singing and playing his sax (breath control gets 5 google stars).

One dude, having the time of his life, and being really good, got the dance floor hopping. I haven't had such a fun night in forever.

Suggestion: If they had a hostess/host go round during the entertainment, and offer more drinks, nibbles, dessert, it would have been more profitable for the business and I think it would be worth hiring someone for this role, as getting a drink/dessert wasn't terribly easy (one
third of the front of house was on stage) and we could have spent way more.

Staff were courteous. A touch overpriced (in my opinion) however, the food was good and as there was an 80th birthday party, the owner got up and sang and played the sax. Very entertaining and enjoyable evening all round.

Our first visit and hubbys already planning our next date night .Greeted Warmly by Trevor on arrival and his beautiful wife delivered our beverages with such lovely hospitality we felt at home .We tried a variety of different options from the menu from Cocktails,Pina colada,Whiskey sour ,Entrees Of bruschetta,&B&B seafood plate ,Mains of Beef Bourguinion and Wild Barramundi finished with Long Island iced teas and For dessert the Affogato and Crème brûlée.10/10 for every course,Customer service,hospitality and Atmosphere.This place is our new Date night favourite.Cannot wait to come back .

Lovely dinner venue. We were in and out before the live music, but the atmosphere and food were lovely. Reasonably priced wine and cocktails and lovely food. Had the duck and barramundi.

Just spent a wonderful night celebrating my mother's birthday with family and experienced service and food outstanding in equal parts. Trevor abounds in charisma and musical talent, providing a beautiful happy birthday solo from the stage. Marie was efficient yet patient in taking our orders and the other staff were faultless also. The food left nothing to be desired, leaving us with an overwhelming sense of satisfaction at the end of the night. Will definitely be returning to Beef and Barramundi.

What a lovely evening.
I like when you go to a resteraunt and there are 10 or so items on the menu, not 100 different things to choose from.
Good selection of classic items and cooked really well.
Highly recommend the lamb, the mint sauce was so good
The steaks were cooked as requested and the pork chop looked amazing and was also apparently very well done.
The meals came out at the same time and we were not waiting long.
Dessert, the chocolate fondant was warm and gooey but the Pear Tarte Tatin was AMAZING warm pears on flakey pastry...

It’s such a lovely venue with great food and service! The owners were really attentive and made sure we were well looked after. Live music on Friday and Saturday is such a great bonus! The singer/owner is really talented and has a beautiful voice. A memorable experience for us. Thank you!

I am a regular at Beef and Barramundi and always find the food and service first class. Host Trevor is friendly and obliging and not a bad entertainer as well. I can recommend this restaurant for casual dining or special occasions.

We visited Beef and Barramundi Bar and Grill as a last minute date night for myself and my partner.

We were instantly greeted by the friendly staff who were readily available for us whenever we needed anything and treated us incredibly nicely! The store is so clean and tidy and their bar is a lovely sight to see.

The BBQ pork ribs were phenomenal, fell off of the bone and the chips were super crispy.

The Beef bourguignon was so incredibly tender and shredded apart by simply moving it with the fork!

Dining is was an experience I’d recommend to anyone as the staff are lovely, the food is well prepared and quite fast to arrive to the table and the ambience made our date truly special.

We came here for a family dinner to celebrate my Nan and Pops 50th wedding anniversary & we were all very pleasantly surprised. Service was fantastic, we all loved our meals and the bonus live entertainment made it such a memorable night. Definitely worth checking out in Ettalong. Perfect for big groups.

Wow what an amazing restaurant. The owners were truly attentive to our needs and gave fantastic recommendations. We all had 10/10 food and service.

The restaurant itself looks fantastic and is in an amazing unique building which is worth having a wonder round after.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner tonight and wanted to share our experience. Everything about this Restaurant was inviting. We were met by Trevor who gave us a lovely table. We ordered mixed entree, garlic bread, pork chop and sirloin steak. All absolutely delicious. We weren’t rushed , the whole evening was lovely. My only regret was that I couldn’t order the chocolate fondant as I was too full.

We couldn't have picked a better venue for our 50th wedding anniversary. The food, wine, service and entertainment were superb. Our hosts made us feel so special and welcome. It made for the best night! Thank you Marie & Trevor ❤

Perfect for a birthday dinner. I don't write reviews for anything ever, but felt compelled to do so tonight, it was great.

We had the best time here, lots of fun, meals were amazing, service perfect, Trevor was very entertaining, unique restaurant.... happy staff due to a wonderful Husband and Wife's professional hospitality would highly recommend and I will be definitely coming again... thanks for the memories.

This place was absolutely amazing!!
The service was great and Ioved the atmosphere. My favorite part was the live performance! The person performing was so talented and everything sounded amazing. Every one was so helpful and I would highly recommend coming here. I hope to come back soon.

Had an overnighter in the hotel and went to Beef and Barramundi for dinner, simply one of the best meals ever, Beef bourguignon and the pork cutlet for mains, tender and delicious, the desserts of cinnamon apple crepes and the pear tart will live in our memories for a long time, great cocktails, wine and German schnapps and the topper, the owner on stage singing ballads all evening. Great night and will drive up from Sydney again.
