Darebin Arts Centre

I visited here recently for Mindy Meng Wang and Sui Zhen’s album launch for Origin Of You. We arrived early, and were happy to find the bar open. The drink selection was pretty basic, and cocktails came out of a can, but they were strong and tasted good. Staff here were all really lovely, and I felt at ease. There is some great seating in the foyer, where you always have enough space. They also had a bar set up outside, and there was plenty of seating there too. Once you go into the Recital Hall there is also a nice variety of seating, although it was a bit hot and felt like there wasn’t much aircon. That would be my only criticism of the venue, because this is a really nice place to visit. An absolutely awesome venue, I wish they had more experimental or electronic music on there, because I loved visiting and would definitely go there for more things in the future.

Saw Julie Byrne here. Staff were friendly and acoustics in the venue were excellent. Heaps of parking available (at least for this gig). Nothing to fault on first visit.

Ya cool space. The theatre is awesome, small and intimate with comferrbale seating. The sound is alright. But the staff are so amazing.

It's a nice place to be at best drink's served to customers and friendly staff members I would recommend it to the other's that wants to check the place out with nicee pictures around and very nice outside with seatse around and the statu! :)

Attended Proclivities the minds dance last night 3 talented classical trained Indian dancers. I was looked after by staff as Seeing Eye dog Gidget accompanied me to a seat in which she could lay down beside me. Excellent hospitality and care shown by staff working this event

The atmosphere of the Darebin Arts Centre is very inviting, easy to navigate, and in a perfect location. The park out the back is a great additional touch

Good seating and lot of backstage area. The stage is also large.

Great modern facility. Plenty of car parks. Expensive drinks.

Nice place, been there at the weekend for a concert. Was told that there are 4 auditoriums in that centre to suit the needs of the occasion. Big foyer area and plenty of parking in a prime location

This is my local arts centre I’ve seen many performances and openings and drummers day in and events and meetings here so I love it and hope my community grow to enjoy it more too.

Weirdly hard to get to, but topnotch small music venue. Having said that, the tickets were somewhat expensive - if that was due to venue costs they were misplaced; it's comfortable with good accoustics & sight lines but it's not a luxury experience

Great place! I've performed in plenty of concerts at the place, and have been supported by the friendly and professional staff there (Mr lane, crew, front). They have a wide range of props, backdrops etc for use, and easy processes.

In general, they are more expensive in comparison with nearby halls, but provide expert advice and more space for any sort of performance.

Been here many times for a number of performances. It's a great space able to cater for numbers whilst remaining intimate.

Fantastic venue for showcasing exhibitions or performances.

What a great performance space. Lots of experienced staff who know the venue inside and out. I recommend dropping them a line if you need a space for a concert or production even an expo. I've been there plenty of times for lots of different types of performers

Ample parking, Good seating arrangements, everyone had a view of the stage. The program was awesome and the crowd was great.

My kids have performed here. We have had events here. This is a well appointed, well maintained local resource for the city of Darebin.

There is a bar, disabled toilets and other features for the otherwise abled. Plenty of comfortable seating, a theatre and a conference open area.

A kitchen on site as well. And it is licenced.
