Mount Barker Foodland

Love this store. Am only visiting and my goodness this store carries the most GF food that I have ever seen in any store that I have been all around the country. So much to choose from.
Would recommend highly of anyone who is a Coeliac that is in the region to check it out.

Absolutely great store. So much variety, much better than the "big 2"!! Competitively priced produce. Staff friendly and helpful. If I lived permanently in Mt Barker I would continue my shopping there!

Excellent food range for people on the go! Good refrigerated food ready for heating up. Good cheese selection and overall a pleasing shopping experience. Spacious isles with items easy to find. I now shop there regularly.

Good fresh food selection using local suppliers. Bit more expensive than the three major supermarkets but good to know you're supporting smaller local producers and farmers.
Due to the explosive growth in population in Mt Barker parking is an issue here as it is in most places in town.

We always shop at Foodland due to range and prices.

One of the best supermarkets in the hills. Very friendly service. They avoid self-serve checkouts in favour of keeping jobs, which is fantastic. Prices can be slightly higher as a result. They're very good with refilling stock. Often very quiet, which is great for the customers but likely not a good sign for their business.

Always go here if possible. . Even the 8 and 4 yr old grandchildren ask to go there instead of."the others"!
We enjoy the bakery food, especially the sweet buns .
Lovely calm feeling instead of loud, bright bussle.
Different items available too, especially for gluten intolerance.

Never had an issue. Shelves are usually full and the store is always clean. Workers in the checkouts can be a little slow, but that's a small price to pay for increased employment in the community.

The whole centre has changed. Great improvement on what was there. The supermarket has a great range you can't get in the chain stores, excellent quality of fresh food, and the staff were friendly, nice people. Lighting, environment was beautiful. Job well done to the owners and staff.

Very well designed Supermarket. A terrific range of Produce. For Vegetarians & Vegans, there is a fantastic range of meat & dairy alternatives. Fresh Flowers available. Reduced Prices on Grocery Items close to best before date. Specialty range of cheeses. Extensive healthy range of food items to choose from - including sweet alternative options. Nuts, Nut Butters, local Honey & Organic Produce in store. Staff very friendly & helpful. The Kid's & Adult's will love the Popcorn Machine! A Great shopping experience! Well Done!

Love this place has large range of products always fresh. Once again great staff and very helpful and polite. Situated in a group of shops there is a good cafe on the same block

This Foodland has been renovated to a very high standard. The fresh food is excellent and the range of food items overall is spectacular. Whilst some items can be a little more expensive the range of products makes up for it. Large, expansive store with room to move.

Always feels very clean. It has quality products with specials for the savy. I love that it promotes local products. A great new salad bar has arrived. Staff are always friendly too.

It is truely amazing in here, the range, the energy efficient cooling, all refrigerated goods behind doors, easy layout the most spectacular deli, cheese, fresh produce section I think I have ever seen. Juice your own oranges station, clean well organised, great specials, friendly staff, then you have the grandest of organic, vegan, vegetarian everything section which again is spectacular to look at, what an amazing place.

OMG what an amazing new Foodland! So many choices of vegetarian and vegan products; the best I've ever seen! They even have machines that allow you to make your own fresh peanut paste and orange juice! Tons of local produce. Well done guys, please keep stocking these great products!😀

Honestly the nicest store I've ever been in, food is amazing here, I'm too poor to shop here though so sometimes I'll just go in and pretend I'm rich by standing next to someone's LandCruiser for a bit, then walking in and buying a single Salmon and Avocado salad. It was like $8 and the server loaded the packet up so much that she had to just squish the lid down and glad wrap the bitvh shut.
Anyone who regularly shops here you know is loaded.
